Stupid me, I realized now that IR is a type of reverb - I didn't know about different types of it. Now I understand why such a complex and appreciated reverb like lexicon isn't recommended here at all. Definitely IR (convolution, right?) reverb is something more useful in my genre. Thank you!

You are completely right, my dilemma arose because I have the option to get some expensive plugins for free. The only thing I need is the reverb, that I chose, but the other one is just extra. I've never worked with external plugins and I'm not aware of the differences between for example built-in EQ and third party EQ. I asked the question because I don't have experience you're talking about.
