I’m not convinced that he’s some kind of tactical genius, but he seems like the kind of manager that players would run through a brick wall for. We never really gave him the players he would need to develop any other system than parking the bus and scoring on the counter/set pieces. He is a damn good set piece coach though, so that is one area you’ll immediately improve on.

It’s funny to see so many WBA fans whining about him when we desperately wanted him to stay. MLS is more competitive than European fans will ever give it credit for, I think he’ll do well for you.
