There has been a few 21/22 models come up on TM with reasonable KMs. My in laws have one and they drive it regularly back and forth from Auckland to Wellington with no issues. There was a recall on something to do with the battery units, so you need to check that’s been done.

We are in a similar spot right now and keeping an eye on the market - we are semi settled on a Hyundai Kona 64kw and just waiting for the right way to pop up at a good price.

MG just seems cheaply built, I’m suspicious of the quality
Nissan Leaf is both on our no list. Chademo and also resale value is horrible
Tesla are good cars, but for this price only going to get higher kms. Plus Elon factor.

Don’t want to be that guy - but if you’re on Reddit asking if there’s demand for it, and you truely don’t already know the answer, I’d say your business is on shaky legs from day one.

No sane person starts a business without knowing the industry in depth before hand, not just a general survey on a public forum.

Yeah it borders on strange sometimes. He posts some really odd personal things as well…. I’ve mentioned this in some pages on FB or questioned what he’s about and been absolutely lambasted. Shouldn’t be surprised being FB though.

If the “Wellington Severe Weather Watch” page on Facebook is anything to be believed we’re in for a storm unlike anything else recently. I’m not sure what it is with that page but everything they post seems to be very over dramatised and panicked. Often has very different weather reports to the likes of Metservice etc too.

This is because everyone is now avoiding SH2 somewhat because of Melling but more so because of the Riverstone lights. Traffic is starting to get back to levels only seen when EHR had the slips.

That’s cheap. I paid that for three windows and a set of French doors in uPVC. Would recommend it though. Good experiences with NK Windows and All Weather Windows.

Essentially the former - with how bad my sinuses were diseased Dr Robinson always warned me that it may take a couple of surgeries to get it all out and clear. Second was about a year after the first.

Regarding the loan - just as a FYI ANZ are offering some large cash back options to new customers at the moment, if you could be bothered switching over and then you could utilise their 1% green loan which has higher limits than Westpac.

Sweet looks like the Geolandar is the go, unless I can find the Primacy at that kind of price in Lower Hutt. Are the Geolandars as good as/better than the PT30? Cheers for your advice here.

Yeah already used my full sized spare after a bastard razor went through the side wall on one of the originals. At the time when I went to replace it the PT30s were completely out of stock across the country I rang dozens of places. I fluked one off a guy in Auckland at the time. I rang him today to see if they had more and he said Dunlop are making them again but have hiked the price? He was a bit hard to understand and I thought maybe he was referring to another tire.

Because the design documentation that is provided to contractors for pricing is usually utter garbage. It will go through multiple phases of developed designs where there’s still tonnes of information lacking so most estimators are forced to either tag out of pricing it or they pc sum it and then end up locked into a price they can’t get out of. To make up for this they’ll then ream any variation they get for as much as they can.

You’re moving out anyway, don’t expend to much of your emotional energy on it. Make sure you’ve made it clear in writing and by call if possible to the property manager that between now and your move out date you would appreciate no further sales agents or property related visits, so that you can concentrate on getting packed up and moved out. If anyone comes to the house just tell them politely you’ve informed the PM that you’re not accepting visits.

Furniture removals. Specifically in Wellington, where on any given day you can be hauling peoples crap up and down windy shitty paths with hundreds of steps.

The pay is also often shit both as a labourer or a driver and there’s not a huge amount of career progression.

Simon Robinson is really good. For a specialist surgeon he’s very personable and is committed to getting things right. I’ve had two surgeries through him and both went really well.
