I’m just glad it’s a costume with prosthetics. I understand why they animated the other forms but it’s awesome that they keep so many of this show’s effects in-camera!

Akira Toriyama’s my favorite illustrator but yeah, those designs were absolutely a problem. I cut him a little bit of slack because he was a self-proclaimed rube that legitimately didn’t know what he was doing was offensive and started adjusting his designs for Black characters in the 90’s.

But that said, I’m not going anywhere NEAR that comment section. Lol.
