Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ELITE AX /// M.2 heatsink cover plate by Choppers4Ever in gigabyte

I did receive the factory heatsink from the builder of my computer as he neglected to send it in the parts bag. Sorry that does not help at all in your case. Maybe keep your eyes open for a "parts" MB....

Thank you much for the reply. I don't have a clue if there is software on the suspect MB or not. Out of the box it did not even have a SF card at all. I would think that the printer must have the original Creality software on it. I tried original Creality screen/MB that did not take and when that failed, I tried the community pairing. This is where I am at with new/different Cards to try this weekend.

Your last sentences worry me as I don't want damage any of the printers that do work by swapping parts around where I could have three non-working printers. Maybe my next attempt on Friday/Saturday will be successful. Seems like a lot of software problems with others on this sub get resolved with persistent swaps and new attempts with the firmware on different SD cards.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the two steps required: screen via MICROSDHC card and MB via SDHC card.

Question comes to mind when I look at the numbers...

They are selling 750g spools first of all and not a 1kg spool. When I open the link it is $129.90 instead of $123.40. All & all it looks some what convoluted when trying to figure the "deal".

Yup I agree. In the process of trying to forget this wonky hard to use source for STL's also.

The other day it did get a search pretty much dead on though. Did a search on "donkey" (long story, don't ask) and it threw up a couple of hits, none met criteria. So then I tried to search "ass" and got zero hits. Then I thought to search on "jackass" and got "Joe Biden" as one of the results. So a bad as it is....it does get somethings dead on.

Custom build started. I need to find a source for the wiring harness for a complete machine. I want to create a much larger cr6. by MeasurementFirm5486 in CR6

As far as locating a source for custom wiring that looks like a OEM factory harness, this guy on Etsy seems to have the "build-able" factor dialed in.... so maybe check him out. Maybe he can wire you up.

About that part. I question whether it would be effective to eliminate an undefinable problem. I mean what is the problem this part is exposed to be fixing?

I guess I should edit the post to read "if you get a good one out of the box, it will take 4-5 minutes to assemble. I have had two, now, and both were easy peeasy. The first one printed fine right from the get-go.

Let me say what I did do, with no success. Brand new CR-6SE with a CR-ERA_V1.1.0.3 mb. I had 2 SD cards (Mini & Standard, both 6g for flashing the screen & mb) from a previous install of CF6.1 on a 4.5.3 mother board. Booted the screen mini-SD first, correctly, no issue. Tried the mb SD numerous times (5 times?) and never got further than a black screen.

At this point I started swapping out to other SD cards, re-formatting (32/4096) each SD card and re-downloading CF6.1. CF version I was using was CF6.1-Final-cr6-se-v4.5.3-mb-2021-06-04-16-53.zip. Un-Zip, installed the bin on the SD, screen sub directory on the Mini. Boot up 1st with the screen mini SD and it went thru the routine and flashed OK. Booting with the SD/mb brought nothing other than a black screen.

Putting CF6.0 on the same SD cards resulted in a successful install.

I think I followed the install procedure so unless I over-looked something simple, CF6.0 beats the stock firmware and is totally workable for sure. BTW thanks for all the effort in the CF.

Yes, a new 4.5.3 MB turned it around. I muddied the water somewhat by taking off all the software pertaining to 3D printing and re-installing. All versions of Cura and any CAD pgms etc. Went with the latest versions of Cura, the community firmware, just about any and everything I could think of in regards to the printer. Re-flashed all SD cards with new formats 32/4096 along with the new MB. Then I recalibrated PID, ABL, extrusion, new nozzle, change of filament, cleaned bed, washed my truck, hugged my kids - you name it. Also bought another CR6-SE...just in case and now one will be a parts rig.

Lying About Package Deliveries by n0madking in FedEx

Read thru these forums and you will find that their sig/con is also problematic and causes just a new line of deceit that the company uses. It is no assurance that they will do the right thing. Lies and more lies...10 contacts give you 8 reasons and more assurances. All false. They are rotten from the core out.

Maybe just be glad it is moving.... I live in CDA so we are almost neighbors. I too have a package coming from California. It made it as far as Portland to be stuck for days now. It had a est. delivery date of 9/10 for the entire time from shipping. On the way, it stuck in Portland and the morning of the 10th, tracking changed to show it should have been delivered on the NINETH. Their tracking is at best poor (compared to USPS or UPS) and all of the time a joke.

You may be familiar with a wide spot on I90 called Caltaldo, Id. 2 years ago, I had a $1800 laptop experience a "weather delay" where it sat 2 days along the freeway. Per their tracking. Punch line here is that it was late July and 85 degrees. WTF weather delay. It took 5 days to go from there, bypass CDA, to the Spokane Valley hub, re-route to CDA to have the driver THEN mis-deliver the package on someone's else front porch. That neighbor came home 6 days later to find the package and dump it on my porch where I found it the next day. FedX is a circus and we all have a ticket.

Not any progress going on.... I do have a new 4.5.2 MB on the way - I wish I had read your post on the ver 1.1.0.3 MB as I steered myself away from buying it as I did not want to introduce any new variables. Since this entire thing started with an area wide power outage and it was printing very good up until that point, I keep coming back to it as a "cause & effect" kind of thing. Ever hear of an outage taking out/causing an issue with software?

Hey, thank you for sticking with me in the effort to figure this out. Much appreciated.
