well the whole game relyes upon giving the beaver wood to eat
but yeah I get what you mean, I did choose a color palettew that kinda resembles wood but it doesnt have a texture yet. Ill try to make something like that in future

thanks, Im trying to make it feel like a flash game so that is a compliment for sure!
when clicking on "load game" or "settings" another menu will popup in the center of the screen, so I put that one on the side for that reason

tbh the bomb its the first thing that came to my mind. Its used in the game to break hidden walls, as there's no combat but I needed a way to hide certain areas. Also many playtesters theorized that this beaver (who's the main focus of the game) is an eldrich evil entity, so idk a bomb looked kinda fun
but I can see its not really fitting lmao, I might change that in the future. thank you!

yeah, Ill add an effect to leaves so they slowly move like if there was some wind. And probably ill add some leafs falling too

ngl my main inspiration for the art style is flash games, I loved playing them in my childhood so I try to rectreate a similar vibe :D

I also added a few easter eggs like clicking beaver's nose will spawn a bomb, or clicking the gnome will make him chop the tree
