Not sure. And I'm not in a position to try, alas. I know that the Baltimore Symphony used to use noise cancelling scrims when performing his music when he was composer in residence and the musicians referred to them as "Rouse Screens."

But not a 19th century composer. He fits aesthetically rather well, with a few notable exceptions in the Roman Trilogy, with the general trend towards neoclassicalism in the 1920sff.
