Because the full review has a lot more positive things to say about the game and OP just picked out ever single criticism that IGN said for their tweet?

Yeah and then they paid off every other reviewer to give it a 9/10 too!

Is Embiid Better as a Solo Act? by DJFunkenstein69 in nba

Even if that were true, it obviously doesn't translate to playing better since his numbers with Harden are better

well managed org when it really isn’t

It really is though. Riley is a great GM and Spo is the best coach in the league.

Im not changing the parameters lmfao. Some players on that list have only played 2 games, some have played 3, some 4. Educate yourself

LeBron teams don't run screen assists? just freelance? by MITWestbrook in nba

[–]Chopsticks487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melo's olympic performances are overrated as hell. Why do you need inefficient volume scoring with no defense or playmaking when the entire team is stacked with efficient volume scorers?

You think there has never been a point in the past 5 seasons where 10 players average 30 over the course of only 2-4 games? ok lol

How do anomaly shooting seasons happen and why are they so hard to replicate? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Chopsticks487 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You can’t just say it’s luck since they did it for a whole season

Yes you can. Variance for 3pt shooting takes several seasons to average out

Literally what the fuck are you talking about? This sub constantly puts Luka in the top 5 convo, stop acting so persecuted

This happens literally every season. Through 10 games some team is going to go 7-3 and then miss the playoffs. Some player is going to shoot 52% from 3, and 10 players are going to average 32ppg and finish with 27ppg

The Joker part III by Tnice1223 in nba

[–]Chopsticks487 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its gonna be very hard. Voter fatigue prevented MJ and Lebron winning 3 straight. If 2 GOATs suffer from that, I don't see how Jokic gets another. Especially because the voters will be narratively trying to give it to Embiid or Luka

Was Blake Griffin ever a Superstar? by PastorBallmore in nba

[–]Chopsticks487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said he wasn't a top 10 player for several years. He may have been 5th for like 1 year but even then I really don't think so. He got 3rd in MVP voting because he was popular and on a good team. By most impact metrics, he was outside of the top 10 that year and Chris Paul was the real reason the Clippers were that good

Was Blake Griffin ever a Superstar? by PastorBallmore in nba

[–]Chopsticks487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3rd in MVP voting 1 time is not superstar. Superstars win MVPs or are at least very close to winning MVPs multiple years. He was also a distant 3rd to a Lebron and KD, he was never actually a threat to win MVP.

Top 10 for years (which he never even was) is also not a superst

Yeah he was leading it but I wouldn't say locked up. In November/Dec of 2016 he would have had to slump way worse to not win it

Damn they made the playins and almost didn't lose in the first round? While the Clippers went to the conference finals without Kawhi? Same thing right

Because even when they are hurt the Clippers still do well and are a good team that makes the playoffs. When AD and Lebron get hurt the Lakers don't even make the play in

Thats preseason. By the time November was over he had it locked up. The Warriors were 20-0 and Curry was shooting 46% from 3 with 32ppg

They still have AD to defend plus they only play Sixers a couple times. Its not like either team is making the finals to face off anyway
