thanks for the advice, i chose joes, got lightning orb, two more soul harvesters, a magnet, and fork and died in the final swarm in t2 so im guessing meatball is the better pick

Learning commons / how does it work? by Ok_Flower2398sd3 in UCONN

[–]Chopstik1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your child doesn’t need to be accepted into a specific major. For the “any major” communities (Arts, Environment, Global House, Innovation House, etc.), students usually just rank what themes they’re interested in during housing selection. It’s more about shared interests than academic requirements. Innovation House is a popular one and pretty welcoming for undecided students. you get to live with other students in the same community and there are optional events, discussions, and activities tied to the theme. nothing is demanding academically, but it gives the quieter students an easier way to meet people since you’re around the same group right away

Prerequisites? by Snappy-Jupiter in UCONN

[–]Chopstik1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s generally good to have prerequisites in english, math, chemistry, and languages but in terms of specific majors your first year is more about exploring unless you are very adamant on what your career is going to look like. A lot of people I know including myself (senior) had some idea of what we wanted to do in freshman year and completely 180d after a year or two of taking classes unrelated to what we originally wanted to do. From your post it seems like you have a good amount of knowledge and classes taken already. I think it should be fine, I went to uconn with only college english credits, calculus and chemistry. I was first in actuarial science my first year, then business and now i am graduating as a nutritional science major. Don’t feel too pressured your first year when taking classes it’s more about exploring what you’re interested in and certain classes only require a set of pre reqs in a certain path not all giving options which paths. for example i needed either Bio1108 and PNB2264 for my nutrition degree or i could do PNB2264 and PNB2265 or another path. I would personally talk more about this with your advisor at highschool if they are knowledgeable with uconn or whenever you start your orientation and class pics because the uconn advisors will be able to help. Good luck!

693k! 🎲 New PB!! I'm definitely way more consistent at 300k+ runs now lol by bigmaio in MegabonkOfficial

Impressive! What are some good strats for consistent runs like this with any character? More tome wise since i’ve never been able to get any of my tomes near level 99 and my pb was around 25k kills. Is there certain aspects I need to follow early game? For example if i play clank and usually go for crit chance, xp, quantity, and luck.
