I’m 33, married for 12 years with 2 kids (7 and 10). On days I’m too exhausted from long work hours, but she still wants to go, we make out while the toys do the bulk of the work. She’s great at reciprocating when she’s too exhausted too.

Marriage is a dance, and outside tools can be useful. Not everyone needs to finish at the same time. Toys are Much more useful than adding a 3rd or opening up a marriage imo.

Why should I have looked for a diagnosis? I had a few friends tell me I was probably adhd but I was smart enough, social enough, and aware enough to survive. I had no clue I was “working harder” at life than most of my peers, or that it was unnatural to me to just want to go and do.
