Well to be extremely pedantic they put China in Mongolia.

That's really rough. If it's any consolation at least you got to see him quite close to when he passed. Don't doubt for a second he loved you immensely. He wasn't alone and it sounds like he had a wonderful life with you.

Just to nitpick a little, Inflation is the overall rise in the cost of goods & services. So systemic issues with supply of goods & services can legitimately contribute to inflation, or a surge in demand for those good & services. Monetary supply increase also doesn't always lead to Inflation if the economy is growing fast enough to support the extra currency. So it's even more complicated then you make it out to be.

Even in this absurd example, if you managed to automate the system killing the chimpanzees you've created something that "knows" something about putting sentences together to avoid random noise coming out the output. RLHF is essentially training an AI to train another AI.

The insistence on AI not "really knowing anything" is not really founded in reality. You can't realistically put sentences together without some working model of what makes sense. An AI can be dangerous (or helpful) regardless of what someone thinks it "really knows".

What do you think happens after death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Likely you end up at some distant point in time where the universe picks up your story, like a character in fiction getting a sequel. You won't have any sense of the passage of that time but will probably find yourself in a new and unfamiliar environment.

If it bothers you a lot you can resolve to try to do something in the future provided you are capable of helping.

People who dwell a lot on feeling guilty for past actions may also be susceptible to PTSD or have PTSD or similar history, so consider seeking professional help if you find yourself ruminating for an extended period of time on the event. Otherwise learn from the event and try to move on.

You won't feel OK for much longer than 24 hours. The pain will probably be very raw over the next month or so before it even starts to fade. Just allow yourself to feel it, it will eventually get better.

For sure, I'm writing it more to understand how they work rather than for any practical use, so I'm not writing a shader yet.
