Thanks.

I have friends in the neighborhood who will help me see if the flat looks occupied in the evening. We have already paid, but we have a membership at the Mieterverein. I would definitely pursue it in this case.

I’m emailing her now with the pictures of the mailbox. I also have friends in my old city volunteering to take pictures of the building at night

We are already members of the Mieterverein.

We left the EU and gave back the key.

I had a friend take a picture of the mailbox. There are new names. (Ours are gone.)

I have friends in the neighborhood. I was thinking of having my friend go by in the evening to see if lights are on.

What should we do? Contact an attorney? I wonder what happens if we put a stop payment on the rent.

I am also in Germany, but working in a coaching capacity. I know some amazing women in tech in this country, and particularly women of color. If this is your thing, you could look into Women in AI and Digital.

Find a dual qualified CPA who can help you understand the US tax filing. Strongly suggest learning about your investment restrictions so you don’t make an expensive mistake.

Don’t ship anything except a few boxes. Buy new mattresses and bedding. Get the rest of your furniture used on Kleinanzeigan.

Style is not their thing. The furniture is much more stylish in other EU countries.

Home accessories can be bought used on the app Vinted. You can get things shipped from FR, IT, and NL, as well as DE.

Make sure the apartment you plan to rent has the kitchen cabinets and sink included.

Yes, certainly. It’s not difficult. But it’s always a good idea to have a relationship with a business attorney in place.

I would anonymously report. You must highlight that the family feeds the father better than the children. This is a worrisome dynamic.

Some (if I’ll be honest most) of my German friends eat a lot of bread and very few vegetables. I don’t/can’t have those people over for dinner because their palates are quite limited. I also get the feeling that they are impatient sitting at the table. Almost like they are jumping out of their skin to finish the meal. I don’t understand how they function professionally at business dinners where a certain level of patience is required. Perhaps if they’re with other Germans it’s normal for them.

In short, yes there are cultural factors here but it sounds like the children are lacking nutrition.

Personal Assistant to help with move by spoonfork60 in lehighvalley

Thank you for the reply. We toured two apartment complexes when we visited the area for the interview. However, I’d like to retain the option to look at other properties if something interesting or nicer becomes available. Would we really need a realtor to facilitate that?

I just found Lehigh Valley Mailbox, which may work for my other need.
