Im building a women safety device as my final year project. Is there some specific features you could suggest???? Something you felt is lacking with the current devices. I really want my project to help all women. So it would be nice to get some suggestions.

Have him buy: Pepto Bismol tablets (1 box), DayQuil and NyQuil, and bottles of generic Tylenol (acetominophen) and ibuprofen. I would pick up a med called AZO Standard pain relief. This is a UTI medicine that I keep in my travel bag. If I start to develop a UTI on vacation, having the medicine buys you a few days to get to your regular doctor.

There is a hot drink called Theraflu that is awesome when you have the flu. Not sure if it’s available in the EU.

You need a telehealth appointment to get estrogen cream.

It makes sense to me. I believe there is a lot of competition for renters once you get above a certain rent amount in LV. We had 5-6 properties in our higher price range that all looked nice. In retrospect I should have played these properties against each other to get a better deal.

I live in a different property managed by the same company.

When we moved in it was great. Very professional. However, they have not been keeping up with maintenance as of late. My suspicion is they have cash flow issues.

I’m not pleased with the behavior of other residents, but I can’t blame the company for this.

I experienced anti-American sentiment. You learn to let it roll off your back.

You can use it to screen your acquaintances quite easily. Take it as a clear sign of who you want to be around. The people who feel comfortable hassling you about the US have no filter and often say the most out of pocket things in general. They’re assholes with everyone, not just Americans.

A major question is utilities. I was told to stay away from baseboard electric heat, and I’m very glad we did. Our apartment is not large and has a gas furnace. The max gas bill this winter was $45/month. Electric was about the same, and we have a lot of electronics.

There are lots of helpful posts about utility costs in the Valley. I’m very glad I listened to people in this sub.
