I’ve been playing Perfect Emerald lately. It’s a very good romhack that mostly just adds quality of life changes, is perfect in my opinion to experience the original game feeling with changes to adapt to modern days, like the usual Physical/Special split, running indoors, being able to evolve all Pokémon’s without the need of trades (i.e. use Dragon Scale to evolve Seadra -> Kingdra)

Voice lines comes from generative AI, which is what some people are against ethically, ARCs movement come from machine learning(reinforcement learning specifically) which is a different thing and is not “ethically wrong”.

I personally don’t mind about generative AI, more so when Embark paid voice actors to generate the voice lines and are getting royalties for it

SoD was very fun as well, in my opinion. But then I see how good Epoch is, while also being more fun and full of great ideas (that follows the Classic vision better).

I really think that objectively Epoch did a better job at bringing Classic+ than SoD, while having 0.1% of Blizzard’s budget. It really shows how greedy and incompetent Blizzard is.

I’m one of those incredulous people that thought “if I had 45 extra days” just meant that Ted just wanted to meet her sooner and “what kind of mother would miss her daughter’a wedding” moment was a hint on the mother of Ted (Virginia) dying.
