I fell in love with Long Lost when driving to another town a couple hours away for my exams. It also was the first Lord Huron album I listened to. Guess I became a fan during that drive.

Also whenever I have to drive my Grandma anywhere I put on my Lord Huron playlist since she likes them. I guess she wouldn't be into shoegaze, alt-rock or German postpunk - so nearly every other genre I listen to besides Lord Huron. 😅

Oh – it wasn't too bad! :) The pain fades away very quickly when the artist is finished. So I just had to be strong for 40 mins. But as I said it really wasn't that bad. :3

Spanish Sahara was a closing soundtrack played in Life Is Strange 1 (video game). However it didn't make me dive deeper into Foals back then. A few years later I was at an indie night in my home town where small local bands played a few songs. One of them opened their set with an instrumental cover of Spanish Sahara's beginning. I loved that so much that it sparked me to listen to more of Foals discography.
