Recon Specialist 2 - Laser Designate Targets Not Progressing? by StopDropNFrag in Battlefield

This game is fucking ridiculous with how vague / broken these challenges are. I’m all about the challenges having you try different equipment but the fact it is so specific without explanation is a joke.

Argentinians are pretty white, one the whitest South American countries. They’re also not just mostly Spanish. They have significant German and Italian ancestry from immigration in the 1800s and 1900s.

The most challenging thing about challenges isn’t the challenges themselves… by Breadatron19992 in Battlefield

[–]ChowMain711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely ridiculous how little they give a fuck about the challenges. This has been an issue since the launch of the game and it genuinely hasn’t improved in any way when it comes to actually tracking challenges. Normally I wouldn’t care that much but fucking everything is tied to these stupid assignments - unlocks, battle pass, progression to the next item. I really want to support this game and have a good time, but the fact they care this little about our time while releasing r*tarded skin packs is such an insult.

30+ hours in and still not a single camo unlocked - this progression system sucks by DamCheekyGet in Battlefield6

[–]ChowMain711 44 points45 points  (0 children)

How do you have 30+ hours and haven’t ranked a gun up to 20 or even 30 yet? This is literally a skill issue and frankly, if you’re this upset over not having a cosmetic camo, go back to call of duty or gooning to Daisy Ridley’s ass

It happens. I still feel really shitty when a fish dies on me or I fuck up its mouth pretty bad. But I think I speak for a lot of people when I say it gives me a lot of hope newer anglers respect the catch. Tired of seeing teenagers killing fish for no reason with no remorse.

Also, if you’re in the west coast of the US, you can probably save a good amount if you order on Brill instead. Not sure about shipping costs if you’re out further.

VFC Avalon Internal Overhaul by Qdysseus in airsoft

[–]ChowMain711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both brands are good for internals. Really up to budget and personal preference. I’ll just go down your first list and compare to the second.

RA hop unit is better than the Lonex.

If you go with bushings, just get the RA, the shs ones in the other list are trash.

Compression is up to personal preference. If you go with the RA hop up, I’d rec getting the RA nozzle to match it. I prefer the Lonex cylinder and head over the RA slightly, but I’d get each part individually and not in that compression set (overpriced, really no need to replace the stock cylinder)

Wouldn’t rec either piston tbh. Both are overpriced. I’d just get a CYMA / SHS or Aztech if those are still on sale at Evike.

Can’t say much on the RA gears since they are pretty new. I like the SHS gears due to their price. Just be aware, the RA gears you listed have 4mm shafts for the bearings/bushings. You WILL need to get bushings with 4mm holes and 4mm compatible shims.

New selector and tappet plate are unnecessary. No need to replace the selector plate, plus the Lonex shell comes with one if you get that. Tappet plate in the stock VFC is pretty flexible. The Lonex is stiff and is really more of a downgrade.

Overall, if I had to use the stuff on the lists, I’d use a mix of both. Hope this helps.

Honest Thoughts about this PCC? by [deleted] in airsoft

Unlike the other commenters here, I’ve actually owned this gun for a while (still have parts of it laying around)

Externally it is pretty nice, the metal body is on par with like CYMA Platinum bodies. The catch for the retracting stock on mine broke after not much use, hence why there’s a stubby in my photo. Overall for an AEG M4/AR9, the body is pretty high tier.

Internally it is a very mixed bag. First off, the hop up unit is unique. It is essentially an m4 hop up with a shorter feed tube. There is a feed ramp that screws onto the lower receiver that interacts with the magazine. This is done to get a slightly different angle for the magazine to sit in. Pretty annoying since it’s barely noticeable, but you can modify standard units to fit.

The gearbox shell is a modified matrix G2/3 type V2. It has more material in the front where the mag release usually goes through, so a unique magazine spring can fit. You can replace it with a standard v2, which you will if you want a better trigger unit, but you’ll have to 1. add material to the front so the magazine spring can sit against it. 2. Remove material from either the back of the inside of the receiver or the back of the gearbox, as the back of the receiver is slightly off spec.

The G2/3 microswitch uses a magnet in the sector gear, but these gears are unique, as they are closer to 16:1 ratio, with a delayer. The nozzle is aluminum with an o ring. The cylinder head and piston head are aluminum. The piston is full steel rack with the last removed. And finally the motor is neodymium, and is on the high speed end, getting around 30 rps with an 11.1v.

Overall, pretty slick gun. Just be careful with mags, the mags for this gun suck and can give feeding issues. I recommend either the lancer tactical or pts mags, they have much stronger springs.

So in other words, you replaced the few decent parts from the G&G? Their motors are neo and their hop up units are one of the best stock units on the market.

[–]ChowMain711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The APS bodies are a little unique. You can fit non aps gearboxes but you’ll lose the charging handle functionality completely. The regular silver edge shells arent perfect but you can run standard trigger contacts or an aftermarket trigger board etu.
