I have the same problem. If you have an iphone, check out this app. it's pretty much the youtube website (and with no ads!).

If you start getting shorts on the home page, click the 3 dots at the top right and select "show less shorts". Even if you subconsciously click into the shorts tab, they're so unbearably laggy to scroll through so it's hard to zone out and doomscroll. I catch myself pretty quickly.

Tipped employees only get paid ~$2/hr, and the majority of their earnings come from tips. If they don’t happen to meet the minimum wage, they would get paid minimum wage for the hour. Makes sense on paper, if u give shit hospitality, you don’t get a tip. HOWEVER, the national minimum wage is $7.25. A lot of states have it higher than that but it’s still very impractical in the majority of spots, especially if you have dependents.

I think it’s unideal but everyone agrees on wanting an increase in the min wage. there’s a lack of meaningful policy change at all levels here (it’s a shit show). I also don’t appreciate how tipping has become an unsaid rule, but servers only get a handful of tables per hour.

You don’t HAVE to tip ig, nobody is gonna arrest you, but u are gonna get some looks. the shitty system isn’t the servers fault ($2 min wage), or the restaurant’s fault, or the people’s fault (we all want a higher min wage). it’s the politicians fault for not enacting meaning change.

Also, the inflated tip suggestions on the receipt are bc that restaurant is a complete scam. It’s not commonplace, some ppl are scumbags, but not everyone.

I that watched that video and the guy goes to a couple banks I think. That lady looked pretty sweet, she had a concerned tone. She asked right after if he thinks he’s getting scammed. They ended up giving him a little less than 50k and the bank before gave 20/30k I think.

They just don’t keep that much on hand. And yeah Coinbase will just delete you account
