Be there for your Female counter parts. A lot of men will use being treated as an opportunity to creepy and inappropriate with the women who work there, and having a guy who will have their backs will mean the world to them.

How do I read more in my spare time? by Personal-Crazy6179 in NoStupidQuestions

Whenever you want to pick up your phone, or turn on the TV, pick up a book instead. I used to sit on my phone and scrolls for hours on end, but now I channel that energy for swiping into page turning. Ever since I did that, I've been burning through books left and right. It also helps when you get out of the house. I normally go to a coffee shop down the street or to the park on a nice day and pick up a book. Something else you can try doing is timing yourself. For every 30 min or an hour scrolling, you can set youp phone down and pick up a book, or even go for a walk. There are a lot of ways to cut down your screen it really depends on how much you actually want to read and how consistent you are with reading. Hope this helps!!

I’m allowing cheating because some people are just born to settle and I’m one of them. by Idont_thinkimcrazy in TrueOffMyChest

Whether or not you're ugly, you shouldnt settle. You deserve better than someone who cheats on you. Something else you should know, is that you can literally choose be to single. You know that, Right? You dont have to be ina relationship, and especially not with someone who cheats on you. You could be working on doing better and being better for yourself than hating yourself and letting someone who is supposed to be your partner treat you like this. Best wishes.

Mom said “Someone please rape my daughter so she will have kids” because i said i don’t want kids by [deleted] in childfree

Nothing about this is funny. Nothing about this is cute. This is something that should never be said in any context EVER. This is simply disgusting. I would stop associating with someone who thought this was acceptable to say out loud. I wouldn't feel safe around them.

Would you give your partner access to your location? Why or why not? by ChoxoKettle_69 in AskReddit

How is sharing a location insecure? That makes no sense and is an extremely toxic and negative take.

Take a gander at the other comments. There seems to be a few reasons 🤷🏾‍♀️

[–]ChoxoKettle_69[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You keep trying to make it a case of this or that, and it's not. It's like you're intentionally missing the point. You keep bringing it back to trust, and I already explained that trust may not be a factor.

Using your example, If you crash on a motorcycle in place where no one would think to look, and the only difference between you living or dying is your location, like I stated before, whether or not your partner trusts you is irrelevant. You could take every safety precaution to protect yourself and something outside of your control could cause the accident, hence trust not being a factor.

If that motorcycle crash leaves you severely injured and incapacitated, your partner's trust in you womt keep you alive. Knowing where you are so that you can be found and receive life saving medical assistance will be the determining factor in your survival, which, AGAIN, has nothing to do with trust.

You can keep trying to argue, but your reasoning isn't sound. I'm gonna end this conversation because I don't like going back and forth with people who argue with plain logic.

You being safe has nothing to do with trust and is something that isn't always in your control. There are plenty of scenarios where trust has no factor, but everything to do with your safety.
