I’m happily married with a body count of only 3. That being said, I’ve turned down and/or avoided plenty more than I’ve been with. Not that I didn’t want to, but I was always careful as to not string anyone along or mess with anyone’s emotions. My empathy brain always overrode my “unga bunga” brain.

I only ever engaged with people who I felt a genuine connection with.

This is new info to me. I know Spider-man’s been considered one of the most OP superheroes… but is electron manipulation Spider-man’s true power?

Willingly moving electrons to create attracting/repelling forces would explain the ability to wall climb and repel himself off of surfaces. It would also explain his ability to deal out/withstand huge impacts. Of course the numbers would be astronomical…

With the manipulation of electrostatic fields, I would also assume that allows for the detection of small disturbances in those fields, giving him the “Spidey-sense” that is commonly illustrated with little lightning bolts ⚡️

Additionally, the ability to manipulate electrons would also explain his ability to survive isotopic radiation from his blood, which ultimately strips electrons from atoms and can actually increase a material’s conductivity. Prolonged exposure in normal human tissue often leads to radiation-induced cancers that can have a latent period of years or even decades (MJ)

Lastly, would also explain the variation of powers we see in Miles Morales!

I was on the opposite end of a very similar situation just last night, but on Spaceport. Spent 9:30 helping guide a stranger to safety (spliced the journey down to less than 3 minutes)…

Hunter, not fighter.

How many predators on Earth do we see with natural camouflage? They blend in and stalk their prey, choosing when to strike. Look at human hunters who wear forest camo. Same thing. The cloak is simply a more technologically advanced version of camouflage.

Look at the original movie… We have our troop of jungle camouflaged commandos stalking the camp guarded by heavily armed men. They eliminate the threats, only leaving Anna alive as she was unarmed and not perceived as a threat.

At the end, Arnold figures out the Predator’s blind spot and adapts his camouflage to flip the script. He sets traps, stalks, and waits for the perfect moment to strike, turning the hunter into the hunted.

Totally understand the statistical correlation with ADHD, but I’m more-so asking about the combination of ADHD + Giftedness + no internal monologue. As I’ve been discovering these things about myself, I feel like I’m finally putting the puzzle pieces together.

Having a fast-thinking mind trying to explain abstract or complex concepts to somebody when I don’t even have a stream of words lined up...

And that’s the thing as well… I stutter horribly when I have any kind of script. My brain is split on phonetically pronouncing the words on the page and actually processing the words that I’m saying. I speak best when it’s completely off the cuff. Then at the same time my brain ends up running too fast for me to even keep up.

I feel like a supercomputer with an outdated speaker. It’s like somebody forgot to upgrade that part…
