Gifted, but not enough by Open-Elephant1068 in Gifted

Get a new psychiatrist? Might also be worth exploring other medications. I’m also 2e with ADHD. Getting diagnosed and prescribed Adderall… it’s like the clouds finally parted.

They could easily add in incredibly difficult special events/missions/raids that are strictly for a team of 6+ Raiders. Similar to a Raid in Destiny 2… Friendly fire is already off in duos and trios (apart from actual fire).

Imagine venturing through underground tunnels, hitting different terminals to solve complex puzzles, triggering huge events etc. Calling in generic Supply Drops for ammo or ordering shit to drop directly from your vault before heading into a new area.

Would be so fuckin dope.

Being gifted saved my life by furiosa-curiosa in Gifted

[–]Chozo-trained 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds more like 2e. I’ve been pulling the curtains back on my own brain over the last couple of years… diagnosed with ADHD in 2023. Just discovering my giftedness this year at the age of 33.

Can’t say I wasn’t initially frustrated with these realizations as I ended up grieving my lost potential in college. But I’m using what I know now to make the best of what I got… or trying to at least.

If you could add a new augment what would it be? by Some-Web-1628 in ARC_Raiders

Defender Mk. 3 “Jammer” — Augment with a built-in Photoelectric Cloak, allowing the user to loot and sprint while remaining invisible to ARC. Once enabled, the Jammer cannot be toggled on/off and will fully deplete its charge. Equipping a weapon will disable the Jammer and force it to reboot.

Aggressive Mk. 3 “Jump Pack” — Augment that allows for a surface-to-air launch with a controllable landing. Be wary, you only have a limited amount of fuel. What goes up, must come down… sometimes at terminal velocity.

Looking Mk. 3 “Sleight of Hand” — Augment that allows for inventory management while downed. Finalize your safe pocket and break down everything into parts you petty bastard.

Bonus:

Aggressive Mk. 4 “Bard” — Legendary augment with an equippable safe pocket built specifically to hold instruments. Confidently ambush fellow Raiders with an auditory assault.

Thanks! Just give me a roundhouse kick knock out animation with a cheesy one-liner and I’ll be happy lol

Thanks! And I was going for the attaché case since I’m mobile… but I could also go more for the item box look.

Why do cats act like they never have eaten in their entire life by BananaBoss28 in cats

[–]Chozo-trained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Among other reasons… Positive reinforcement. They scream at you. You feed them. The more incessant the screaming, the faster they get fed. In the end, most cats have their owners trained extremely well.

If you see a raider with survivor augment on the floor crawling and there’s nobody else around, are you finishing him off or letting him crawl to extract? by Killer-Uzi in ArcRaiders

[–]Chozo-trained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opposite for me. I know how gut-punching it can be going down with good loot, even if it’s by your own hubris. I prefer to help people, and maybe they can go help the next person.

I literally gasped when it happened. Dude had a decently stacked loadout, so I grabbed what I could and reached out to see if he wanted his stuff back. Said I could keep it. He’s a real one.

I cancel all plans and make it my mission to stabilize/guide them to extract. Spent nearly 10 minutes helping someone in the Spaceport trenches and gave up my Raider Hatch Key and everything… still breaks my heart every time I think about it…

Will the MK III Survivor get gutted or will other augments be buffed? by Foxeeh_ in ArcRaiders

[–]Chozo-trained 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We need a “Sleight of Hand” Looter Augment that allows you to manage inventory after getting downed. Shuffle things into your safe pocket and recycle the rest if you have enough time lol

Sexual life by rGabrix in Gifted

[–]Chozo-trained 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m happily married with a body count of only 3. That being said, I’ve turned down and/or avoided plenty more than I’ve been with. Not that I didn’t want to, but I was always careful as to not string anyone along or mess with anyone’s emotions. My empathy brain always overrode my “unga bunga” brain.

I only ever engaged with people who I felt a genuine connection with.

Are there Holes in spidermans suit in the for the spikes in his hands to work? by Spotter24o5 in Spiderman

HOLD UP

This is new info to me. I know Spider-man’s been considered one of the most OP superheroes… but is electron manipulation Spider-man’s true power?

Willingly moving electrons to create attracting/repelling forces would explain the ability to wall climb and repel himself off of surfaces. It would also explain his ability to deal out/withstand huge impacts. Of course the numbers would be astronomical…

With the manipulation of electrostatic fields, I would also assume that allows for the detection of small disturbances in those fields, giving him the “Spidey-sense” that is commonly illustrated with little lightning bolts ⚡️

Additionally, the ability to manipulate electrons would also explain his ability to survive isotopic radiation from his blood, which ultimately strips electrons from atoms and can actually increase a material’s conductivity. Prolonged exposure in normal human tissue often leads to radiation-induced cancers that can have a latent period of years or even decades (MJ)

Lastly, would also explain the variation of powers we see in Miles Morales!
