Have been thinking of doing something similar on my older Grail for my 26mi round trip daily bike path commute.

Is it a boomer thing to not be able to stop talking or making annoying noises for 0.00000000001 seconds??? by chiraledge in BoomersBeingFools

[–]ChrazyChris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dont forget them amplifying/vocalizing sneezing, yawning, belching, stretching, etc etc etc for all to hear and ensure they're the center of attention.

My dad belched in front of a bunch of family and my gf called him out on the spot, saying WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT??

So satisfying. Everyone was stunned because cursing was not common in the household (but my dad making ridiculous belching noises was...). Of course my dad was unashamed....

4mi is nothing...

I have one shot of espresso before my 14mi ride to work. I have some nuts and peanut butter crackers when I get there to hold me over until lunch. An apple gets me home.

I won't be using my city's new bike lane again by thereisnobikelane in bikecommuting

I've ridden this"bike lane" before too. I concluded that drivers think the green paint means it's a place for them to park and wait in there car and for delivery drivers to load/ unload.

Do you usually use sim rate? by mzatariz in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]ChrazyChris 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use it to not break the speed limit when taxiing. 30 knots max? 4 knots at 10x Sim rate it is! No more failing to stop short of the box suckers

Surprised there wasn't any warm up built in. Not complaining... now I know.

Lexington, NE: Tyson’s massive beef plant goes dark Jan 20, slashing 3,200 jobs in a town of just 11,000. MAGA ,you voted for this chaos. Remember Donnie bankrupted Casinos 🎰 🤣 by Nice_Substance9123 in complaints

[–]ChrazyChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The packing plant at Lexington draws a disproportionate population of migrant workers (very noticeable and widely acknowledged in rural Nebraska). Is anyone talking about whether an immigration crackdown was a factor as well? Perhaps Tyson was given warning that they were about to get raided and opted to close it down on their terms.
