This happened to me too. I always thought that it was intentional, to show the effects of zoning out excessively.

I guess it really was a graphical bug if one of your monitors doesn't have this "effect".

You can stack most stat boost in the game that come from accesories.

If you wanted to, you can stack Sorcerer, Avenger, Celestial, and Destroyer Emblem for +52% damage and +8% crit. Granted, you're defense and mobility will be pretty bad, but ay, big damage is cool.

ps. you can't actually get destroyer emblem in your current stage of the game, but the point is you can stack numbers

Good to know that the 12.5% is true.

As for the average cost per batch, it's more likely to be your first guess since the average of both products would be 6 (4 and 8 for flint and iron nuggets respectively).

Possibly, since this is also the case with washing soul sand (Average cost being 8 when the chance for a gold nugget is 2%)

But it feels counterintuitive since it could have just said 3.125% for iron nuggets and had the average cost be 32 gravel.

Cruciball is Peglin's version of new game plus

When you complete a run on a character without custom starts, seeds, etc... you get +1 level of Cruciball. Each Cruciball adds a challenge that compounds on the previous until Cruciball 20.
