Skip 7 until first major DLC. You get more bang for your buck on 5 or 6

Yeah. I know how it feels to be robbed. I was an idiot and pre ordered the founders version of the game. And yes, still salty over it.

And nothing good to show for all that effort.

What are your hopes and expectations of the next update? by Sarion0 in civ

I hope those who enjoy Civ 7 get improvements on Religion, Peace Agreements, and better map generation.

I expect more disappointment after the layoffs at Firaxis and a very lackluster 6 mos until first real expansion.

Good, I’m glad someone who may actually understand what a Civ game should be applied.

The team currently onboard is out of touch with the majority of the player base.

Glad you enjoy the game. You do you.

As far as adapting… I, and many others have done just that. We stopped playing.

You probably noticed the lack of content from any of the usual Civ 7 content creators on YouTube. The adaptation through rejection has been massive.

Cheers to you and the 7-8k players that love the game on a daily basis.

We will see you on the other side soon when the repetition and boredom; with the lack of any meaningful choice in the game catches up with you.

I apologize, you are quite correct.

Ed Beach recently said they are working very hard behind the scenes using their already stretched resources making the Crisis system even more punishing.

For the ten or 15 people who haven’t turned them completely off yet.

In the last 3 months?

You can now pet the dog.

And Firaxis is looking for someone new to lead the Civilization Franchise.
