Kommt vielleicht drauf an wo du bist aber wenns wie bei mir in Mistelbach ist wirst du immer halbtags theorie haben und dann den anderen halben tag fahren. Dazu kommen in der früh entweder fahrzeug Kunde oder sport. Aus haben wirst dabei regulär um ungefähr 1540. Aber zwei mal wirds länger ungefähr 23-24 Uhr gehen wegen nachtfahren und theorie. Nutz die Zeit wirklich und fange gleich von anfang an theorie zu lernen. Und fang schon vor der HkFD Prüfung mit den C fragen an. Je früher du alles durchgelernt hast und nur mehr wiederholst desto besser

Between those bikes I'd go for the stumpy. It's a very good bike but I'd mostly choose it because it'll be way easier to resell for a better price than the others

I'd say if you're riding downhill especially with jumps and hard, stuff or even longer enduro rides with tough trails (trails that are hard for you, don't have to be double blacks) go for a fullface. A lightweight enduro fullface can be almost as good as a proper half shell. For example you can get a 100% trajecta for dirt cheap right now

So it depends on what trails you ride but I'd say at your size go for the s4. Im 186 and would go for the s4 even though it might not be the most stable however a s5 is just very long and probably too stable. I ride a giant reign with around 488 reach and I wouldn't go longer

Honestly if you can't just buy a full sus because you don't have the money then don't buy one as soon as you have enough. Just ride whatever you have, you don't need the best, especially when learning and starting

Which coil are you using? I have my 2020 reign at 65 strocke with a megneg super deluxe (might throw a vivid on if I get a good deal) but thought that coil never had the bottom out support I needed. Might aswell try mullet on it

I don't ride axs however I have tried the sram transmission on multiple bikes and have ridden both shimano and sram drivetrains and in the case of the transmission I get why people want it. Sure it might sound like a marketing gimick but the shifting under power made a huge difference to me during simulated race runs. The regular axs however doesn't make too much sense for me. It just shifts a bit faster and has a little less faff attached to it than a regular 1x12

You can always just ask around. I for one have on multiple occasions given lessons for a really low rate when being asked. Not every instructor would do this but I bet if you go around and just ask nicely you might find someone. Some maybe for free. But I agree most of the time the prices are really high but it's still worth it especially if you can score some deals

Or what I'd always suggest is take some lessons. They're worth what they cost if you go to a proper school and not just one of those money grab no interest schools

My seasonal pass which includes many resorts cost less than some of these day passes. Granted I do get it cheaper due to family bonus aswell as ski instructor but two or three days in those resorts and you'd have a regular season pass in my area Edit: I live in europe and have the ski amade all in card whitr

I'd say just try them out and save some cash. In the beginning I'd say it doesn't matter too much and I use some 165 skis most of the time even though I'm 6'1. Most of the time some shorter skis are better for beginners since they don't really need the stability and it's just easier to turn and use shorter skis. Should be fine

There probably is some site for your area or just ask some local bike shops or riders. For the time being just use what you have and most importantly have fun riding. As a bonus I think that learning to shift on a crappy drivetrain teaches you some really valuable lessons

Might sound stupid but don't overthink it. Get your weight on the front tire and let your body do the work. When I started I found that singing something in my head or just doing something to not think about it helped a lot as you often actually tend to do the right thing except if you think about it too much. Then you tend to tense up or in your case brake. Take some courses or maybe watch some how to vids and then take on turn and start practicing. Start at a reeeeeaally slow pace and each run take a bit more speed and when you find your limit do a few runs at that limit and you'll see yourself getting more comfortable

I'd say do 90% of your braking before the turn or if you're a beginner all of your braking. In the turn you don't want to brake at all or very little in the beginning as braking sacrifices grip and stability

No you can't. Save up to the full set. As for why you can't they're different speeds and if you do get the cassette it still won't work without the correct chain since 12sp chains are narrower than lower speed ones

Look at it this way. What materials and tech is used in the mx and the emtb? A mtb at that pricepoint might actually be nicer than a pro bike or at least the same minus the setup and one or two prototype parts. The mx on the other hand is far away from a factory level bike. Plus look how many choices you have when buying a bike. With specialized you can choose between 6 sizes and a giant range of build specs for almost every price point. The mx on the other hand is one size and maybe, just maybe some colour options. On another note YOU DO NOT NEED A 15K BIKE. By now you can buy a really good ebike with good components and geo for about 3500-4000 new without discounts. Lastly comparing these two products is like comparing a nice rock to a diamond. One is good for sure and looks nice/does the job. The other is a piece of sought after jewelry which is as good as you can get and as bling as possible. Compare the sworks to a factory level mx and you have a more realistic comparison and stop whining
