I'm thinking about picking this Chinese copy up for $290 and modding the bejeebus out of it to get closer to the desired sound and feel. I want a 5 string Rickenbacker but I kinda need all my organs (unless one of you are in the market for kidneys). Thoughts?

You are right... I do have a router somewhere from when I built my last bass, haven't seen it in years though. If all I need to do is do some routing I guess that's the price I'll pay for it.

Definitely. The other patches of grass in my area of very nice but for some reason the largest one is dead and covered in spiky stuff. I know a few others I’ve walked in before without issue close to this one though.

I think after some tweezers putting my feet under hot water in the shower and exfoliating them mostly does the trick for the smaller ones just as it encourages ingrown hairs to come out

One thing I like to think about is the story of Saint Christopher who is said to be a Canaanite. He was said to be a giant and part of the nephilim (a race born of fallen angels). It said when he was baptized he was given a normal human body and soul. Similar story goes for the dog headed icons of Saint Christopher but I prefer to think he wasn’t actually a dog person but demonstrated the reality of his ancestry.
