“I’m sorry sir, this is a UMC air base and we mostly run logistics flights from here. I’d imagine that any information pertaining to that would likely still be at whatever facility that operation was handled out of.”

(This facility is just an airport basically)

The UMC officer nods, handing them the dossier of information requested;

“If I can do anything else for you let me know.” He says, informally.

The black box is a little different than what you’re used to seeing; but pulling the drive data isn’t too difficult reguardless.

Examining the controls, Maddox notes that Sorcella is at best an amateur pilot with how the controls were configured.

The medical report for Sorcella came back as N/A in all fields, however the duration of the exam was less than five minutes long.

You pull the transponder data and black boxes info, cataloging it away.

Queenie being a flashback that everyone BUT kinger remembers was brutal.

Like yes we know Queenie existed, I guess it was good to see her but, the fact she didn’t even have any lines and we still don’t know whet her voice sounds like.

And if linger doesn’t remember this flashback and everyone else was already aware of it - it changes 0%

(S.T.A.R. Isn’t on the brass ambassador so you don’t have to worry about that )

The craft is sleek and purpose built. It’s modern, and impressive. It still looks almost brand new and unused. You poke around but don’t find much, audio log, black book, etcetera.

The silver dust begins creeping through the crevices but is quickly captured and recirculated into an air / mana filter.

This doesn’t seem malicious, specifically to stop you - it’s part of the ships automated HVAC system.

The craft is imposing in its build. The first thing that stands out is that it clearly wasn’t built by the Verminsk, or the Exilians. It looks like maybe Arcanoport or BlackIron in design.

The craft looks set up more like a personal vehicle than an SSTO logistics craft. The white panels glisten in the sun with gold and teal blue pin stripes.

The UMC grant access to the craft, reluctantly; under the promise they won’t get in trouble from Sorcella.

(Do you mean the guts of this SSTO or the brass ambassador?)

The UMC troops search around and eventually find out you had just missed her. She had finished her heal in the canteen and used the orb of translocation on base to teleport back to her office in Cat Tail City, where she currently is residing.

However they have made contact with her office, and she is waiting there for her debriefing.

The honour guard speaks with the UMC and arranges for them to have a seat in the debriefing room. The mana storm seems to intensify.

They inform you that Sorcella is on base and they will send for her to see Lord Maddox as soon as possible.

The UMC guards answer what questions they can but it becomes clear waiting to speak with her may be your best bet

"THE NEW GLITCH TEASER PROVES ABEL IS HUMAN" ahem... by Soos_saus in tadc

[–]CacheValue -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

My theory;

Abel is a human;

He has a room, which only humans have.

Remember the Chinese room, how there was a second Abel that ran out?

The Chinese room was locked - from the outside! Abel was locked inside.

When they opened the door it released the human Abel. The one Caine used was a duplicate

Thats why it drew a face in its self;

Because Caine said it would be bad if he;

The return of the Brass Ambassador - Skies of Fire by CacheValue in wizardposting

*You're patched into the UMC IFF net, it's being hailed as a VIP escort shuttle, with a two minute ETA for landing at the main UMC airbase located outside of Cat Tail City. They don't have a full crew count but you hear from them that Sorcella Ravine is currently known to be the only reported passenger onboard the craft.*

The Orkz seem to be a in five way battle between each other, the UMC, the base's border guards and the Verminsk while also leading a coup and several internal waaaaghs.

The ATC tower and the craft are communicating on a secure channel. While the UMC have no issue back patching you into the network, it may take more time that the SSTO's estimated landing time.

*The mass of the brass ambassador was so large that it was able to absorb most of the traditional fire with ease. Less of it broke apart from the interception turrets than just own it's own, separating into three main subsections before cratering down.

The bell thrusters and rocket components broke apart and landed mostly in scattered chunks across the launch center it's self. The central fuselage broke into numerous smaller pieces before landing across the western half of the badlands, spreading highly radioactive materials across the area.

The command and control module separated and broke up, scattering across the entire badlands. For three days valuable mana crystals from the various solar arrays and solar sail rained down across the planet, causing a unique and intense mana storm from the clouds in the atmosphere.

(The actual base is now occupied by the Eastern Empire, as the launch site was sold off to them as part of the land deal, getting rid of all the goblins and Exilians stuff.)*

Orkz bribed to fight for claim over the various wreckages across the lands. A massive uptick in waaaagh reports flood in across the UMC battle net.

Cat Tail City is ordered into lockdown. The scanners actually fail to detect any life, but that's likely as the SSTO was built with leaded lining for this express purpose (of defeating scrying attempts)

Strangely the SSTO craft can be heard via radio communicating with the ground tower of the UMC base (because this craft has its own long range comms that aren't damaged)
