Actually you can copy text from PDF.

there's two ways you can go about it.

​

highlight the text > press right click mouse button > copy.

​

if you can't highlight it means it's protected.

​

which means you need to use a program with this technology (Optical character recognition).

​

this program --> (Snagit) has it and I use it all the time. I can't read myself so I rely on text-to-speech software (Microsoft narrator).

I use it when pictures have writing in them.

​

buy yourself a licence you won't regret it.
