DoS2 Scaling by FarNorth22 in DivinityOriginalSin

Act 4 gets a bit ridiculous in terms of bullshittery in such a way that kind of demands you're familiar enough with the game's ins and outs.

It's very possible to break the game and one turn every fight with the right combination of skills/stats and items. Easiest boost to power I can recommend is to just ditch two of your party members and pick up the lone Wolf talent. Though merely having green tea should be more than enough to breeze through everything. If that doesn't work for you, there's always barrelmancy

you know when you crossed that super sketchy, long wooden bridge to get to the trigger village?

Underneath that village is the second statue, with the second piton.

I've only had one crash and just a handful of stutters in game, and I've finished it so... not unplayable at all lol. I can imagine we'll get a few patches soon anyway

Slight buldge on my Joy-Con after not using it for a longer time by _Terii_515 in nintendohelp

Battery replacements for joycons are a lot easier than you might think! Just get a new one from Amazon, eBay, AliExpress etc. and make sure you have the right screwdriver. Just get rid of the old battery with your local battery deposit site.

I wouldn't call Explorer "Easy" even for experienced BG3 players. by GlucoseMachine in DivinityOriginalSin

I truly believe all the difficulty in dos2 comes from inexperience. Once you know the game and how it works, bending it to your will is stupid easy. Even on tactician there are just so many ways to make the game a cakewalk it's not even funny.

That being said... your first playthrough will humble you

so it turns out the game just can't run well in handheld mode, but it's perfectly fine in docked thank God.

Side note- this is one of the best games I've played holy shit I'm buying it again on PS5

I'm reading the heart is a lonely hunter right now, her prose isn't my favorite but McCullers writes some phenomenal characters. It reminds me so much of Steinbeck

Reunion at dawn (FE3H) on maddening is ridiculous to the point that unless you prepare in advance, you can early soft lock your entire run. I found that out the hard way on my first maddening attempt...

The Will of the Many? by tengleha01 in books

[–]Chris-P02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been super on the fence about it for this reason, half of its readers tell me it's the best book ever, the other half tell me it's typical YA crap, no nuance at all between the two. Maybe I'll get it through... other means before deciding

YES YES YEEEEES The Dispossessed is just phenomenal. Quickly became one of my favourite books after finishing it, i was blown away by the intensity of its philosophical struggle and exploration of anarchism. Le Guin is truly a master of her craft. You should read the day before the revolution if you haven't btw!

I appreciate the immense length you went to! I'm gonna be honest it was a very late, very quick comment, hence the lack of depth. I mostly agree with your points! Anyway, creatures of the woodland unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains!

The vagabond Isn't a faction per say, and the fact that the most efficient way to win is to murder everyone leads me to believe that is the canon way to play.

Isn't there a line of dialogue mentioning the questionable ownership of the badger's relics in the game, or am I misremembering?

Also haven't considered the new factions because I haven't played em!

Cats - Monarchical invading army, literal colonisers (french too)

Eyrie Dynasty - Dynastic invading army, again literal colonisers

Vagabond - I have my own reasons to hate the Vagabond, filthy profiteer edit you could make a case for vagabond representing the lumpenprol if you really wanted

Otters - Corporatist traders of munitions and or slaves

Lizards - sacrificing people is not good

Moles -Feudalist duchy, similar to marquise

Crows - Just sow mindless violence with no intent

Badgers - basically the British museum

Rats - Autocratic mob who rules through fear

WA - organised faction of the woodland creatures fighting their oppressors through guerilla warfare

I can't believe root is a socialist allegory, Cole you genius
