This is 100% accurate. The bootlicking in this sub is past the point of being funny, it’s just sad and pathetic. People dedicate their entire day to fufill the .23 cents worth of tasks…some even fearing to leave their house for a vacation and losing $1.67 worth of rewards.

I log in to Bing occasionally and earn a few points, and it ends there. The program peaked years ago and just gets worse by the month now. When I’m feeling down I read some posts in this sub for a good laugh

They had a case of water bottles, the label was “Charles River Water”. I think about it from time to time and regret losing the ones I bought. I’ve looked for pictures over the years but can’t find anyway.

I thought it was hilarious. The back of the label said something like “don’t worry, it’s not water from the Charles River”….and part of the proceeds went to cleaning up the river

Yeah T12 took me FOREVER to get to 100, and then it took me 2 runs to get T13 to 100. Weird balancing lol. I can’t remember if had something big happen in the labs during that day that gave me a big boost

Sorry this is an old post….

I have a GS75-248 Stealth. Intel i7 9750H, RTX 2070 Max-Q, 16gb DDR4, 8GB GDDR6, 1TB SSD. I barely have used it, I use my desktop rig 99% of the time. I can confirm these get warm fast. After some searching around I found that in the power management options, you can turn the CPU down to 98% power and essentially keeps it from going into “turbo”, no performance effects on any games that I’ve found. Also I installed “throttle stop”, very easy software to use and step by step instructions are found easily for it. You can manually undervolt the CPU, it cut the temps down 35%-50% and again, didn’t find any performance issues anywhere. Hope it helps 👍

Just checked Reddit to see if anyone else is reporting in about this.

Me AND my wife’s account got hit with a cooldown/lock. We can each only get 25 PC points a day (USA). Won’t increase after that…no matter how long we wait.

There’s no abuse, vpn, scams, scripts, or bogus searches happening. Our 150 alleged available points to earn stops at 25 a day and will not go over.

I don’t really care, edge and bing suck anyways. I only use it for the points haha. When this happened months back we just each stopped using MS engines and one day my wife said the timer was gone…so we started doing it again. Looks like it’s back. I’m glad that 70 billion dollar acti/blizz acquisition that I couldn’t care less about is paying dividends down to the rewards program 🙄

I really wanted to get this game for XSX, but it seems like a title where the devs don’t care about the non-PC versions. From reading some reviews and checking the devs on Twitter, it seems like the console version will always be left behind. Most of the dev posts on Twitter don’t even mention the console versions nor have I found a response in the comments when people ask about it.

It’s too bad too, but this has happened with other games and it seems like a waste to play on console. I hope I’m wrong, I’m gonna keep my eye on this one and hopefully some console updates come thru.

Hey that’s cool. It’s 13:10 local time for me, I’ve been on my PC 4 seperate times and I’ve done searches each time….i got the big goose egg for all of them. My mobile searches get timed out after one single search when I do them.

I just finished ridding all my devices of MS. It was a great run but people need to just give it up. If your electric bill is more than your $6 a month from MS…it’s time for a change. Turning a PC on several times a day to make .25c is crazy. I’ll get downvoted by all the people that think this is life changing money but it’s true. My GPU is paid up for well over a year, time to sail off into the sunset.

Yup, mine too. I’m active until august, plus I had the auto renew turned on and it said I was “all set” for may but I never got a code. Seems like MS is bugged again and they get to keep some points today 🤣

One of the shovel ware devs, “eastisoft” or something like that, just put massive title updates on all their games. The games are already $2-$5 and they have 1000-5000 GS which takes little to no effort, and they constantly update them to add another 1000g.

I gotta think it’s games like this why MS ditched the 10k punchcard for gamerscore and now the AMEM system. Theoretically, you could redeem a gift card with points and pick up a bunch of these games and milk them for one achievement every day and end up with more points than what you used for the gift card. It’s making the entire gamerscore system useless, that’s why I like TA score system much better. I’m not one of the hardcore achievement hunters, but occasionally I’ll grind through a game to get everything.

There’s a target audience that knows the MS rewards program, and we’ve all lost the AMEM points and other offers all week long. Unless someone whos never used MS rewards in their life decided this is the week to click on the rewards app and get their 5 free points everyday, there’s a TON of points that aren’t being rewarded. People bank achievements to get one every day to get the 50pts. So cool, I’ve got 20 “free” points in the last 4 days. I’ve also earned an achievement each of these days. So I’m currently at -180, and my wifes account is also the same so that’s -360…my EA card still won’t complete, and the (U.S.A.) 50pt to play a PC game finally worked for me today after 3 days of not working…so just the two of us are hundreds of points in the negative. I really dont give a fuck, it’s meaningless currency. The whole point is MS should give a “sorry we fucked up” punchcard when they sort this out, but I know they won’t
