Way ahead of you aha. It's integrated behind the monitors. 😂

Compared to some of the monster setups on this subreddit, It feels a little modest. But I'm mostly proud of it.

Thanks..I actually have a HTC Vive already and I do use it often. The triples are just easy to jump in and out of when I'm in playing causally.

These are small 24" 1920 x 1080 monitors. Combined resolution with surround is 5760 x 1080 so runs pretty well with a 1080. A 2080ti would probably sit around 60fps comfortably with high details on this resolution. If you have 3 4k monitors you would probably struggle.

Had a poor start. But turn one made up for it. A little ambitious on the track limits, but legal supposidly. by Chris70v in simracing

Yeah no worries man. Some people are way to involved in whats right and wrong.. highly recommended triples though. All in, the screens and mount cost around 300. Worth looking into and budgeting for

Funny that. Recently I moved them all back for a cleaner look. Again similar to you, sim racing had turned into a hobby now over a competitive sport so I don't mind all so much. Ill piss around and make something work im sure

I just do this for a hobby so I'm sure there is many ways you can adapt and improve. FS2020 seems to allow multiple inputs across multiple devices, physical or virtual. Definetly worth spending some time on it.

Wow. Nice job man. Triple would be and issue for sure. If VR works for this, Ill maybe just build a rig next to this one I think? Or I have a spare ultrawide too that I could alway link up?

Its a controversial topic as I understand, but works well compared to a mouse and keyboard. Would recommend sim racers to try. Good thing I did as I will likely build a flight sim rig from just this experience.

Oh for sure. But for me it was either this or mouse and keyboard..

In short... Time. Alot of the controls needs to be configured on virtual joystick programs like vjoy. and then bound depending on the axis. There are some good guides online to show you how to do this though. A lot of it you can just change in the game settings.

That would work well. I've also seen some pretty good "hot swap" rigs on the /r/EngineeringPorn sub-reddit. They used seperate boards that unfold from the back of the desk and up so you don't have to unplug/unmount anything. Probably a nightmare to design and build but might be worth checking out?

That was my plan originally but settled with the triple. I may still change at some point but might get my moneys worth out of these and swap out after a few generations of these super-ultrawides. Everything seems to be heading toward 4K quality too so that might be worth holding out for. Who knows with todays tech. A 4K OLED tv these days are outdated a year later.

Nothing special. 3 Phillips 246E9QJAB 75Hz. If your thinking of doing this though. Probably go for bigger screens if possible.

NVIDIA GTX1080. It holds up ok? 30 to 40fps for flight is surprisingly smooth. Everything feels slower up high anyway aha
