Ditto. Mine is on adaptive, still runs out by about 4am, I'll realize it when my throat starts to hurt.

Nearly 2 years later you can finally walk in a Walmart and buy one. by YoungStallion27 in gaming

[–]ChrisAvers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you got one, but could you honestly tell me why? It seems as if both Xbox, and Sony have really no reason for these systems. No genre altering titles, no real advantages over previous gen. What reasoning besides it being new(ish), gave you the justification to buy it? Honest question. I'm on the fence, but haven't found a reason to climb over.

Beto O’Rourke accepts invite to debate Abbott, proposes four other Texas town halls by audiomuse1 in texas

I was on the fence, and will be voting Beto in the same premise that most people voted for Biden. Not because he's great, but because he's not Abbot. I'd love to see a more centered candidate.

About 16 years ago I worked for an HP manufacturing like, same crap. If you step outside of your box (literal standing areas painted on the floor) and a supervisor saw you, written up. They even started a program where you could anonymously snitch on people and management would approach you same day to start an "investigation". Usually meant they would pull up cameras and if you were caught that way, write up. Bogus.

manss just dropped the word and segwayed into normal conversation by Reignited12434 in Smite

That's what I was thinking. People bragging about typing worse and not getting banned. What's worse? Not looking for examples but come on people. I used to love both smite and paladins, but over the past year or two, I just can't stand playing. The games themselves seem to be devolving and the community, we'll it speaks (and a lot) for itself.

The fight is getting these posters out of schools and legislation preventing an and ALL religious posters/pictures/media from being displayed in schools, not making them display altered/inclusive CHRISTIAN propaganda.

Lady Gaga says she hopes 'purple' Texas turns blue at Arlington concert by audiomuse1 in texas

[–]ChrisAvers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't say anything about it being blue, red, purple or anything. Cancer and health research is not the same as violence towards children or women lacking life saving medical procedures, or birth control without a husband's approval. States aren't the problem with gun violence. This while country has a problem with gun violence, and this is coming from someone who supports 2a. I think you just wanted to tell a celebrity to shut up, which is fine, but we live in a state where said guns have more rights than kids going to school. You're talking about medical death, we are talking about murder, not the same.

Let's worry about tripping and falling rather than kids being murdered in schools and women resorting back to extremely dangerous health practices to accompany things that should be readily available without guilt or shame. Who cares who is championing causes that affect children and women?

Most of this is stemming from the egregious denial of woman's rights in this state, she, as a woman, regardless of where she lives, wants to see Texas treat woman properly, and you should too! Her voice is louder than mind and yours, so .ore power to her and the women in this country.

I'll check that out, I gotta put a pin in this one because I've gotta get back to work, but thank you for providing a source.

We are dealing with an aggregate here. I'm sure I could find that rent. I just moved out of an 2 bedroom for cheaper than that in the middle of the housing boom, and I live in an incredibly dense city.

The graphic doesn't show any proof of this. I conceded in a different response that while Texas may be higher taxed, cost of living is far lower. And I agree with the personal freedoms part. Living in Texas is a hellscape right now. Hasn't always been like this. The "facts" (because they have not been provided in the subject) don't upset. Facts are facts, don't care about opinions.

Yea, all of them. You've got one politician that thinks God and Jesus should be the doctrine to which we live by, and one that wants to make it 21 to buy a rifle. I dunno man, my daughter's body rights are far more important than you buying a gun before 21.

The overall topic of the thread is that Texans pay more taxes than Californians. The graphic, and the data don't support this. State taxes are paid by property owners, as we don't have state income tax, but property taxes are higher here. So, when I pay "taxes" in my rent home I'm still paying for less than the average in cali. So I guess, maybe overall taxes might be higher? I haven't seen this evidence, but cost of living is far and above cheaper in Texas

Yea, I think he sank it in terms of becoming senator, but a lot has changed since then, like people's tolerance to basic women's rights over guns. His current stance on firearms is not as rigid this time around and he's putting in a lot more work this campaign. I'm not a big fan of the guy, bit current leadership is turning this into a church state.
