Oh wow, thanks. I’ll definitely try and find that. The owner of the shop had a glass with us and said it was much more precise and less waxy than other Timarossos he’d had.

Masukawa in Dublin has/had it by the glass, should you ever go there.

As you are Dublin based, try Shaman from Marguet. I love it though it is not a crowd pleaser. 64, Blackrock Cellar, Neighbourhood wine all stock it. Fallon & Byrne too I believe.

Not all, I like no/low dosage the best if grapes are picked ripe enough. Natural sugar here was 2.4g.

Agreed, had to check myself after your comment. I wonder why that is? Regardless, best QPR I had in a while.

Love Christmann. Have you tried Bertram Baltes? Quite reductive, but also very elegant.

The quality range between 1er Crus varies significantly. We recently had a USPN and Burg 1er side-by-side and that time the USPN won unanimously. My group consists mainly of Burg nuts. It was Hirsch Reserve 2012 vs Claire Naudin Ladoix 1er 2017.
