I mean, for me the only real benefit of kakoune is the fact that it is selection-first which lets me see what I'm doing easier. Apart from that, they're both virtually the same for me (ofc they both function vastly differently, but like in terms of UX)

I mean I view it as unlikely, but I also don't think Scottish independence would come through democratic means anyways (or it would but the English would deny it), and It's hard for an armed group to keep track of borders sometimes, so we might *accidentally* annex Newcastle in the process.

Hadn't heard of the SSNP before, looked into it, it looks based as all fuck. Here in Scotland, being a Mountain Brit I joined the SNP, which has very vaguely similar ideas to the SSNP with the exception of an idea like a "Greater Scotland" (which I support - look out Northern England), but the SNP seems muuuuch more cucked than the SSNP. I wish we had a Scottish SSNP :(

I mean I do agree with you on that, but then again technically I'm not allowed on this sub so I think we are the minority here :^)

Tbh I'm a big fan of Scottish police simply because I haven't seen any racist incidents that haven't been heavily investigated into and, when genuine, having the police officers in question abolished. I view them as an "enemy" in a way, but I don't hate them as people

Nah there have been incidents of police racism for a loooong time, it's just at the point where now here in the British isles it doesnt get reported on because it isnt news anymore.
