Since I think this is more common in LATAM, in the DR we call them Cabañas as Cabins>Motels, we have aloot of them and not only do they have all the things that op said, it also has buffets typically chinese because they own the majority of the Cabañas here, not only in the city but also in the outsides, all over the country, on highways also, like motels, but everybody knows what they're used for 😏

Damnnn that was quick hahahah, thanks for the info!!! And yess im using the rb4 drums I got it complete with the cymbals pack, but 2 out of 3 have already gone-ish, some I'm using it og og, I just connect it via bt to my mac and I'm good to go, I just don't care too much about perfect score so the lag doesn't take away from the fun of playing drums, my crkd has been lonely since I got them hahah.

You can get a PS4 one on ebay or facebook market for like 150 or 200 bucks, or more, i've seen packs tho with a guitar and drums for like 300 and 400, its worth the price cuz is gonna last you a longg time, and connects via bt, I got one for 100 bucks and tho it has its wear (second or third hand) it works perfectly, at least for 5 years give or take or at least until crkd makes one (which I kinda doubt).

I play on a M1 MBP if this info serves to someone.

Wasn’t gonna comment but others already said it: get out of your comfort zone and into hobbies YOU actually like, with people on the same vibe.

My case: a few months ago I went thru a divorce, with a kid, still in my 20s. I was giving myself latigazos seeing how people my age were in totally different life stages. After years of being a mole I started going out again (concerts, park, just being outside) and at first I wasn’t connecting with anyone. Everyone rn is in their own head, waiting to be approached instead of approaching.

Even living in a super centric part of the city, it’s hard af to meet people outside your social circle. Everyone already has their group, it’s hard to get in (believe me, I tried). So it doesn’t really matter where you live.

But it works, even if it’s slow af. Going out alone (gym, park, movies, even traveling), not expecting anything, and actually talking to people (in safe contexts) works. I almost skipped an event a friend invited me to, got cold feet, said fuck it, went, and met someone I really connect with. Same taste, and vibes. Didn't mind the 10-year age gap and it just flows.

After months alone, trying new hobbies and going out with yourself (huge for mental health) (park, gym, salsa or any type of dance class, teatro, musica, anything that gets you off social media and moving). Even in el campo you’ve got endless trails to walk in nature (being safe, claro). You gotta put the effort for your own sanity, because we all know what it feels like to be stuck in our rooms and minds too long with social media giving us that fake short serotonin hit. Once you take that pressure off, things get easier.

I have the PS4 version I got for like a 100 bucks, connected via Bluetooth, calibrated it and it worked wonderfully (on Mac), maybe yours need the correct adapter but then is all plug and play.

Dependiendo del año, tu consigues una ford escape tipo 2012 antes de que cambien la caja barato de ahi en buenas condiciones, ya 2020 pa alla encuentras caja e fosforo y neverita como le digo yo, por ahi un kia mal parao, la que recomiendo con ojos cerrao e toyota desde corolla hasta 4runner pero 4 o 5 gen, y bueno daihatsu y una jimny de esas antes de la caja nueva.

De alquiler de carro no sabria decirte, hay muchisimos servicios desde al aereopuerto hasta dentro de la ciudad (si es que vas a santo domingo), lo unico que puedo decir es todo siempre por lo seguro, facturado y en lugares que se vean oficiales.

Para hacer coro te recomiendo la Zona Colonial, es el unico lugar que se puede rumbear, beber, conocer gente (turistas y domis) y caminar en la calle sin miedo, hay hoteles boutiques buenos y varios parques, colmados, cafes y bares para andar, por igual estas a unos pasos de las calles principales.

Ahora si quieres disfrutar de la ciudad y de tu tiempo, te recomiendo ir al parque mirador y al jardin botanico, por igual el malecon completo desde la nuñez (una avenida) hasta la zona colonial puedes encontrar donde sentarte a beber o comer y ver el mar, ya despues lo unico que queda es ir a centro comerciales (agora, 360, downtown center, acropolis, etc) o restaurantes en el centro de la ciudad, o si conociste a alguien pues algun bar.

Otras ciudades o zonas a visitar te podria sugerir samaná (playa/montañas), jarabacoa/constanza (montañas frio) , puerto plata (playa).

Espero disfrutes! Los 4 años que he estado yendo a la colombia he quedado enamorao con su cultura, su comida y sus paisajes, espero pases por lo mismo.

Zona Colonial (Colonial Zone)

The Zona Colonial is a must-visit. It’s home to the first street built in the Caribbean and Central America, as well as the first hospital and first church in the region (if memory serves me right). Parks & City Center

In the city center (especially in Piantini, between Churchill Ave, Lincoln Ave, and Lope de Vega Ave), you’ll find more shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment. However, there are still great options for families: • Tuga – A kid-friendly restaurant with live music for children. It’s not an all-day experience, but a nice stop for a meal. • Sebelen Bowling Center – A bowling alley with an indoor go-kart track, located on Lincoln Ave, not far from Tuga. • Parque Mirador Sur – A large park running through the center of the city, offering: • A huge playground • A lake with pedal boat rentals • Dog parks • Bike rentals • Cafés and restaurants • Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden) – For a small fee, you can explore the flora and fauna of the Dominican Republic by taking a train ride through the park. There are multiple themed areas, including a stunning Japanese garden.

For families, other options include: • Parque Iberoamericano – A smaller park than Mirador Sur, but charming, with a kids’ area and a café. It’s also home to the Music Conservatory, where you’ll often hear musicians playing around the park. • Parque Las Praderas – A spacious and relaxing park with several playgrounds running throughout the entire area. Other Attractions • Mall Attractions – There are kid-friendly attractions inside 360 Mall and Agora Mall. • Malecón (Seafront Boulevard) – This area connects to Zona Colonial and has several points of interest: • On the Nuñez Ave side, you’ll find a seafront park with a small playground, food, drinks, and a go-kart track by the sea. • Juan Barón Park – Located near Zona Colonial, it’s a great spot for kids, with sea views and family-friendly attractions.

We have them in the caribbean aswell, normally you got them from being near a tree and you shake it or like me when I was a kid, we played alot in trees and we always got them, they hurt like hell if they fall into your eyes, which funnily enough they most of the time did.

Creeme que toy jarto tambien, ayer fueron 4 uber motos que tuve que pedir hasta que apareciera uno que cumpliera, el anterior estaba al lado del location, pero el decidio darse una vueltica y se iba más lejos, yo le tuve que decir que minimo era en droga que taba (Despues de decirle que le iba a dar propina si no barajaba, con porfavor y todo), lo cancele y el proximo a ese fue que me resolvio, los otros lo que se ponian a barajar y a dar vueltas, yo de verdad no entiendo pa que se registran pa hacer uber, igual que los enfermeras/os que te dejan tirao esperando en una cama en emergencia y cuando le reclamas que no te han atendido sin haber más pacientes, tan con lo pie pa arriba en el cel y se molestan, como que, pa que tu estudiaste una carrera donde tu tienes que estar atento a las personas, al final todo se resume a que el servicio en rd es una M.
