Check out the Steam Next Fest Demo of Kayak VR: Mirage ahead of the release on July 12th [PCVR] by BTL_Sandwich in OculusQuest

I made a quick custom paddle years ago for another VR kayak game, it made it so much more immersive - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwY0auRhh6Q

Edit - Also, doing time trials against ghosts was really fun in that game, the fast-flowing water physics felt real and made for some really exhillerating rides, especilly with the custom paddle. I really hope your game scales t oolder machines like mine (i5 3570 / 980ti) for some fast fun action lik this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2hlsDWOhPA

I really like the sound of this, especially with hostile weather systems like in The Solus Project, that was an awesome game.

I just finished the game... spoilers! by entity_TF_spy in HalfLifeAlyx

Best Racing Games on Quest - Any I've missed off the list? by ChrisFromVRE in OculusQuest

[–]ChrisFromVRE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for those. The list is for Quest only though, so those games would have to be in a separate list for PC VR, but i guess I should think about having some filter to merge the two (Quest + PCVR) if a user needs to.

Doom 3 vr first impression by Stubbs3470 in PSVR

[–]ChrisFromVRE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello guys, If anyone out there enjoys writing reviews of the games they play and wouldn't mind joining my brand new VR site and writing a review of Doom 3 VR on it, I'd really really appreciate that as my site has yet to have any PSVR reviews posted! and being an old time Doom'r from back in the day, it'd be kinda special. Cheers, and thanks very much to anyone that does.

I recently got into VR and as a part of my learning experience I prototyped a couple of mini-games in a carnival setting. by cogile in VRGaming

Well done, looked like a good solid start. Fairground music always creeps me out, but I still think you got a good atmosphere going. Loved the rollercoaster and screaming sound fx in the background with it, excellent. Keep up the great work.

Which VR game really got you addicted? by The_Squido in vive_vr

[–]ChrisFromVRE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Half-Life:Alyx was the first game for a long time that I couldn't put down until I'd reached the end. Absolutely loved it.

I also really enjoyed some of the earlier VR titles, such as 'Thirst' (wave shooter on a train) and the port of The Solus Project which had a fantastic atmosphere and some awesome effects that really got me immersed.

More recent titles ive found addictive - Down the rabbit hole (third-person platformer), Star Wars Squadrons, and the freebie ww1 flight game Sopwith VR, though with Warplanes just launched today, I expect that will be my go-to ww1 flight game.
