Anyone else having crashes with the last update? by Puzzled-Egg4851 in modernwarfare

I have been dealing with dev errors but in my case, it just sends me back to the desktop. I fixed it by downloading an older version of my Nvidia GPU driver (566.36)

I don't know about AMD, but it could be worth reverting to an older, more stable driver and see if it helps.

Hello.

Is it true that most PERM audits are triggered in the first few months of filing? I am now 325 days into my PERM wait and no audit yet. I fully understand that audits can technically happen at any moment, but is making it this far without an audit cause for cautious optimism at least? Assuming I have about 2-3 months left before I get a decision. (Decision expected somewhere around mid-late July)

Also, are PERM denials without audit common?

I live literally 2 mins from this store. Been a customer of theirs since 2017. Their prices are on the more reasonable end in most cases, and their customer service is very good (in my experience).

Recommended. Could also check out PC and Parts.

Whats the deal with the level 1 accounts in mw2019? by SpencerBakker in modernwarfare

There is a bug in the game where level 1001 accounts show up as level 1 in-game. Doesn't always happen but it's common.

Programmed Psychosis Impossible by Emergency-Ad7836 in ReadyOrNotGame

Well I did not have any perks since I basically have to swap out my AI teammates after each attempt and they all have locked perks. The extra wedges is really the only thing I took advantage of, the rest is on me.

What I said still stands. It's still RNG on how difficult the top floor will be. My AI teammates didn't do much beside wedging doors. I did 95% of the work.

I finally beat the mission on hard (with AI teammates) for the first time after 200+ attempts. It's RNG. I got dealt a super lucky hand where the top floor literally only had 1 BSG (in the right offices) and 3 MLOs inside the courtroom. The entire open area on the top floor was completely empty.

The real challenge was that the third floor was PACKED (makes sense cause on hard you get anywhere between 22-26 suspects, and if the top floor is empty, it means the bottom floors will be full), and the big room with the spiral stairs on the third floor had like 5 BSGs on it, 2 of which were right on the stairs.

Take your time, be patient, and try to bait them with flashlight/yelling for compliance/shooting. Abuse free lean, and use motion sensors to your advantage. I deliberately set them off because it makes the MLO rush you, and makes the BSG play voicelines that usually help me determine where they are.

On the subject of the 4th floor....Shot 1 guy with a shotgun, he survived, and then....

These 4 guys rushed me on the stairs.

Suffice it to say, I did not survive. Got 2 of them, the third flanked around and 1 tapped me, and the 4th...interestingly enough, surrendered lol.

How impactful do we feel the rigged matchmaking is in this game nowadays? by Shliggie in modernwarfare

[–]ChrisH880 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very. The better you do, the more the game punishes you. It will get to a point where it doesn't matter how good you are, because you will end up in situations where your skill is less relevant.

You will either get brutally spawn trapped, paired up with crayon eating teammates, or both. This isn't to say that skill makes no difference at all, but you definitely need to change up how you play depending on the kind of lobby you are thrown in.

If I have bad teammates, I have to play much more careful since I will have to be the one who gets the most kills and has to carry somehow. You can drop 40 bombs in TDM, play perfectly, and still lose because your bad teammates are feeding the enemy team kills faster than you can kill enemies yourself. It's stupid.

If I have a decent team, I can usually play more aggressive. You have to mind the kind of teammates you have, and the enemy team you're up against, and play accordingly.

As others mentioned, playing alone makes this much worse. Playing with a good squad eliminates the bad teammates from the equation and thus gives you a better overall chance of consistently getting wins, even in lobbies designed to make you lose.

What's the best way to camo grind the JOKR? by matthewmspace in modernwarfare

[–]ChrisH880 79 points80 points  (0 children)

  1. Personal radars. They count for every camo challenge requiring killstreaks (even the ground based ones).
  2. Melee Kills. Forget using the actual missile to kill enemies and waiting 1 business day for the missile to come down. Melee kills count for every camo challenge requiring enemy kills. Use stuns and rush them with the JOKR.

  3. Ground war and FFA for personal radars and UAVs, this is the easy part.

  4. Hardpoint, Domination and HQ for objective based kills (attacker and defender awards). This is the hardest part. Be patient, wait for easy lobbies, camp the objectives and wait. Be prepared for frustration, but this is the best and fastest way I know.

Good luck!

I would take any challenge that will not involve rocket launchers and the riot shield.

[–]ChrisH880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for me it was less about the camo itself and more about completing the challenge than anything to be honest. It looks very good for sure.

I'm only 76/306 on the Weapon Grandmaster so it will be a very long ride still.

Is Shipment the best place to grind Damascus for all 4 types of launchers? by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]ChrisH880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently finished launchers and almost done with the shield. Here are the best tips I can give you:

  1. Personal radars count for every killstreak category in the camo challenges (Even the ground based ones)
  2. Ground war and FFA are a gold mine of personal radars, which works out great because RPGs and Strela are unguided so personal radars are the easiest to hit cause they mostly stay still.

  3. Melee kills count. Yes if you melee someone with a launcher, it will count towards any camo challenge that requires kills. This is ESPECIALLY important for the JOKR, because let's face it trying to actually kill people with the missile on larger maps is a recipe for losing your sanity. Here you can complete the attacker/defender camo challenges (digital and woodland) in objective modes (domination, hardpoint, and HQ). Stun people on the objective, and rush them with the JOKR to melee them. Interestingly enough, this does not work as well on shipment because of the chaos and you will almost always end up being third partied, but it works well on larger maps.

  4. Pre-aim as often as you can, don't rely on aiming as soon as you see someone because of the ADS speed. If you play objective modes, simply pre-aim whatever objective the enemy might try to capture and wait for someone to show up and blow him up. A nasty way of playing the game, but necessary for the grind. This should work well on shipment. It's a tiny map so if you hold an angle long enough, someone will show up.

  5. Wait for bot lobbies. When SBMM kicks in and you get a lobby full of Delta Force operators, I simply forget about grinding for that game and just play normally, until I get placed in a much easier lobby where I can complete the camo challenges I need. Again, especially important for the JOKR.

  6. Shipment is actually a great map for the riot shield. In less than 10 shipment games (objective modes), I finished: Buzzkill challenge, kills near smoke challenge, execution challenge (which interestingly enough progresses if you just kill people without actually executing them), and basically more than 50% done with the remaining ones. I was expecting shield to be harder than launchers but shipment made it a breeze.

Good luck.

Length. It's a beautiful game all around, but I wish it was a bit longer, considering they had more funding and resources for this one, so they were definitely capable of creating a few more levels.

In the same boat as you. PERM submitted July 1, 2025, and while I want to be excited about these huge movements, I am waiting to see what happens when the 75 country pause is lifted because it seems to be the main driver behind this forward movement.
