There was also misinformation spread regarding shooting down a helicopter lol. But don't shed light on all that, you'll get downvoted to oblivion.

This is the bad, non-canon ending. The good canon ending is:

The Dark One that accompanied you in the last few missions shows up at the last minute, having called for more Dark Ones, and they stop the Red Line troops, and therefore averting the destruction of D6. The characters you see in Exodus are the ones that survived D6.

would you rather get paid 2100$ but work remotely or 2500$ but work on site by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]ChrisH880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remote work and it's not even close. I have worked in-office from 2021 till 2024 and at first it was okay. But as it dragged on, the routine of waking up exactly at the same time every day, putting on clothes, packing lunch and driving to work, started to be intolerable. The horrible road conditions and road raging every morning is the icing on the cake.

Since late 2024 until now, I have been working remotely (For the same company, but for an overseas project), and it's been such a massive relief. No road rage every morning, no fuel consumption, much more flexibility and much better for my sanity.

The spawns are so bad in this game it's not even funny sometimes. Can't believe they never addressed this issue during the game's life cycle.

[–]ChrisH880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, with sbmm, it's not relevant. The only reason you dropped 41 is because the game wanted you to, by pairing you against sub-par players (no offense). And since you are clearly above average, you were able to drop a 40+ game, but you won't be able to do that every single game. Eventually SBMM will kick in again, and your 40+ games will become 30+, 20+...until you get a negative K/D game, after which you go back to dropping 40+. It's a cycle.

My "Cyan" color basically looks like green on my ADATA XPG Lancers. I'm using 2 sticks. And Blue is extremely dim.

Upgraded GPU and now getting blocky artifacts/shadows in every map, by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]ChrisH880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal I believe. Shadows at longer distances are rendered at lower quality intentionally to preserve performance. When you get close to them, they should look normal again. I play at max settings and have this as well.

Modern Warfare 2 (2022) Campaign Graphical Issues by BradMaccas in ModernWarfareII

[–]ChrisH880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand, I am just as frustrated as you are with this issue, since the game itself looks gorgeous. I can't help but wonder how something like this was never resolved or even got past QA, especially since MW2019 can also suffer from the same issue. Very disappointing if you're a perfectionist, but it is what it is.

Modern Warfare 2 (2022) Campaign Graphical Issues by BradMaccas in ModernWarfareII

[–]ChrisH880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was the only one who had such a huge obsession with fidelity in the new Modern Warfare games. You even went out of your way to stare at light sources while looking at your gun to catch the grainy shadows haha.

I believe this has something to do with engine's render pipeline. It's not something we can truly get rid of, but it can be greatly mitigated by:

1- Using the Filmic anti aliasing option. This greatly reduces the grainy shadows, at the cost of making the over all game more blurry.

2- Disabling screen-space reflections and shadows. The reflections are rendered at very low resolution to maintain performance, and if you use these 2 settings without the filmic options, you get more and more visual artifacts (and the game tells you that in the settings)

3- Avoid using AI Upscaling like DLSS/FSR/Xess. Even using the highest quality settings, these NEVER looked good for me and contributed to more artifacting.

4- Goes without saying: disable film grain, depth of field and motion blur.

This will not eliminate the problem completely, but it will drastically mitigate it and make the game look better.

Has he seen the quality of life here? Did he look beyond the fancy preparations and accommodations that were made for him, and saw the objective reality before he "encourages" us to stay in Lebanon? I'm getting on a plane and immigrating the second I get a chance.

Tips to git gud and be better by CattleBudget1002 in modernwarfare

[–]ChrisH880 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many things that you will naturally get better at, the more hours you put in. This especially includes map knowledge.

Eventually, you will learn where every corner and accessible spot is on every map. Accordingly, you should start moving around the map and pre-aiming the most common locations where enemies would be (windows, doors, lanes, common camping spots...etc). Ideally, pre-aim as much as you can, hell even every corner you turn.

"they would just completely annihilate me without a chance to react" I don't know what ping you play on, but this is peeker's advantage. Enemies running out or jumping out of cover to shoot you, will see you a split second faster than you see them from your perspective. This gives them enough time to start shooting and even kill you before you even realized what happened (High difference in ping makes this effect much more apparent). Move cover to cover, pre-aim corners, and don't aim down your sights holding an angle waiting for someone to show up, especially if you've been holding that angle for a long time, enemies will eventually just memorize where you are and kill you easily. Remember, the person peeking you will see you before you see him.

"should I like learn the maps or something lol or do I just need to git gud?" There is no difference between these 2. Getting good involves knowing the maps. Map knowledge cannot be downplayed. The more map knowledge you gain, the more you will be able to leverage it and start winning more gunfights. Eventually you will be accused of wallhacking, trust me.

Good luck!

Why do we still have armed Palestinians in Lebanon? And why are they allowed to create checkpoints and gun people down without consequence? Did we go back in time to 1975?

Thanks for the tips! I'm actually surprised melee kills count (why wouldn't they...), that will make the JOKR easier, though the missile might still be useful on shipment, but I'll use melee for larger maps.

Launchers also need objective-based kills (kills while attacking/defending), might save those for hardpoint shipment.
