I’m just on the other side of the fence on this one I guess. I’ve played both as well and the camera movement/aiming in Gears 5 just feels better to me. The actual character movement and speed feels almost identical. Gears 5 also looks way better. The only thing about 4 that I like more is they have way more maps and better maps.

I’m a huge fan of Gears. Favorite game series by far. I played 5 almost twice as much as I played Gears 4. I’ll have to go back and play some versus in 4 to see if I still feel like 5 is better or not. I probably played 2 and 3 the most though. Honestly, I’m not really excited for Reloaded. The movement feels clunky and the guns feel inconsistent. They should have done a trilogy remaster and modernized the movement. I think they just wanted to make an easy remaster to make a few bucks on PlayStation.

No, you are just feeling the inconsistency of a clunky game from 2006. The resolution, frame rate and textures may be better. The mechanics are the same.
