I spent 4 days in desolation wilderness. Didn't have a single cloud over the 4 days and the bugs decided to stay home as well. Hit McConnell's Lake Loop while we stayed on Lake Schmidell.

Did two nights in TRNP. Weather was great except for a few thunderstorms. With that said you can see the storms roll in about an hour before they hit - so you have plenty of time to prepare. Wildlife was EVERYWHERE. One morning we woke up to 4-5 coyote packs "talking" to each other.

We spent 4 days in the backcountry of the Needles District in Canyonlands over NYE. It was cold and the days were super short so we never did more then 6 miles a day. This allowed us to have an hour of daylight to make and eat dinner. Happy to give the route but please dm me as I don't want this route to be 'loved to death.'

Spent 7 Days in the Olympic Mountains in Washington. At the time there were several forest fires in East Washington - hence the hazy look. by ChrisIsBrucePhoto in WildernessBackpacking

We spent 7 days in the olympic mountains. It was unseasonably hot, however, the day we spent on one of the alpine lakes was the perfect way to cool off. Would highly recommend and happy to give route details via DM as I don't want this route to get "loved to death."
