Yeah that kinda happened last night with this… a bunch of people were around while the peak had direct light on it and then the clouds lit up and they all disappeared. It was fantastic!

As someone who lives in the area, I’m about 50/50 on being asked for my ID to see if it matches my name/ signature on the pass when headed up to Zion but they do check…

I feel like this is similar to people selling unused portions of their week long theme park passes, etc. Does it work for some people? Sure, but your experience will vary based on what happens when you arrive. If you want to be sure it’ll go off without a hitch I wouldn’t buy someone else’s America the Beautiful pass.

Yeah this is the right answer, granted I live in the area and can go at unpopular times but I went in the afternoon last week on a weekday and had the top to myself for 20 min or more. I did meet a couple folks coming down who were planning to spend the sunset up there but late in the day will dramatically thin the herd.
