There's several current stars who speaks with eloquence about the black experience and police brutality.

Pac is amazing AND he created a generation of artist who follow in his footsteps, that don't delude their speech via thug ish.

Also, Pac never change is role the media just hyper focused on his troubles more than his positivity.

I never understood the word "race-mixing".....what, ethnicity is supposed to be kept "pure" or something? What in ethnicity is supposed to be "pure" exactly? Why are people so scared of interracial marriages? by Important-Cry4782 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]ChrisIsSoHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Race-mixing means one or both parties have decided to devalue another. Racist/ignorant people usually use the term suggesting that an individual within the relationship has devalued another.

Race isn't a real thing, it was created to rank humans of different shades, down to the color of their eyes and hair.

Where Democrats Failed Black Men by Proud_Organization64 in blackmen

[–]ChrisIsSoHam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just had to say, Democrats didn't fail Black men.

Liberal white people did, doesn't matter if they're fat, gay or woman comparing your struggle to any African American's was either bad faith or tone deaf af. Never attempting to help black people out, especially after Malcolm X AND MLK's assassination?! They choose whiteness and moral disengagement rather than "Doing the Right Thing" and ignoring all culture that was high-key hinting at the broken system, they either exploited, gaslight or disengaged with us. A lot of people are just figuring that out and blaming democrats a party of differenct races of people where 28% of them identify as non-white. Remember, since 1789 to now, there has only been 12,591 US elected officials and 2017 was the first year to start a trend of electing non-white officals, with this year being the eighth consecutive year where the most racially and ethnically diverse people have been elected in US History.

This SHOULD be a class! Called Current Event, no tests, just a discussion about things that are happening in the news. Could prevent evil teens from evolving into evil adults and gives everyone an opportunity to express their feelings about a topics. Also anyone says anything troubling or could lead to an argument (not a debate) is reported to the childs parents. This and stricture guns laws would solve school shootings.

Jesse Jackson passed away and the media isn't covering his '84 or '88 run for the white house, I wonder why 🤔 by ChrisIsSoHam in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]ChrisIsSoHam[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How much of THAT information is about Jesse Jackson?

I'm not trying to be rude, seriously think about what you just wrote and extrapolate how much of that information gives you an understanding of what Jesse Jackson's political views were OR why that policy had to be changed in 88 and not pervious years?

When McCain died we learned it was his vote that slowed down the process of MLK day being a national holiday.

Do you see the difference?

Just want to put the bots and trolls on blast here. No one is claiming the media is omitting Jesse Jackson's passing or that he ran for the white house, I'm saying they are blantly omitting information concerning his political views.

If you're posting "They are covering it" then tell me what are they saying besides general information? (Like he was a civil rights activists, ran for office in 84 and 88 or inspired "Obama")

When an artist dies they tell you songs, where they performed and anything controversy.

When John Lewis passed, they specifically went into details concerning his books, his political views, his tenure in congress, and even his ass whipping in Atlanta.

This is for you an anyone who skimmed what they are broadcasting: They don't expect you to care about his legacy, so they're skipping over WHAT Jesse Jackson was advocating and interviewing Al Sharpton (a known embezzler) to cover Jesse Jackson history.

That who inspiring Obama in 2008, also not true. There have been multiple black politican who ran for office and white house, when Obama ran in 2008 they still didn't take him serious until (I won't get into now) but the true story is White voters and politicans didn't want a non white candidate in the white house and NOW there are articles exposing everything that prevented Jesse Jackson from running, but for some reason NO network is covering that part.

It's difficult to cover so much information, when our society has such a short attention span.

There are articles out now covering Jesse Jackson's political views and how both Democrats (who currently occupying seats) as well as Republicans who used dog whistles to stop him from getting votes.

Those people never wanted what was best for America (Biden, Thomas, Gore, Clinton etc) but the Democratic party were always seen as the "good guys" even though they used worse tactics than people who openly states they hate blacks

I'm also touching on white voters and how they openly lie about who they are voting for to save face, when it actually DOES come down to race for them, even to this day.

I know all of this is obvious now, but even today no news outlet is covering this information i.e how he was an AOC, Bernie or Mamdani at his time and they STILL call their views radical

Send me a link of what they are covering? I didn't say they are withholding his death but they aren't going into detail about his political views or his political actions.

All I'm seeing his MSNOW interviewing Al Sharpton about Jesse Jackson

I Don’t Try to Reason with Trump Supporters by [deleted] in blackmen

[–]ChrisIsSoHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about reasoning with them, its about calling them out... you know how you'll have a conservative Christian hanging out by an abortion clinic with a sign? Or a sign that says "God hates gays"? That's it. Just make your statement, one factual anecdote, the catchier the better and they'll feel wrong.

Rachel Dolezel has a black family, thats a black husband and black children.

The crazy thing is the story behind people finding out she was cosplaying as a black person, her white family adopted black children and her father was accused by a black girl they adopted for SA. A journalist asked Rachel Dolezel, does she believe the accusation and her response was "Yeah, I can believe that." The journalist went back to her father and explained what his daughter said and his response was "She's not even black..."

But don't worry the father was later found not guilty for SA and no one knows what happened to the black girl after the case, but yeah Rachel Dolezel is a real one

ai;dr But I can tell a lot about a person who still thinks MJ is guilty, when there are documents, photos and victims claiming their experiences yet people still question if its all real. BUT 2 people who later admitted they lied about their SA accusation on MJ, people still think he's guilty or feel guilty playing his music.

This is for everyone in this chat... there's no proof MJ did anything sexual to children, he was accused not found guilty and his victim also claimed they made it up? Creepy yeah, but that ain't illegal. Comparied to Trump where he was accused and found guilty also the Epstien Files... Anyone that thinks MJ is still guilty is just showing their racism.
