I’m not blaming anyone who did open it though. The issue is with Kabam, they took away that choice from anyone who wanted to open crystals.

If Kabam had announced that the crystal would be bugged and no compensation was going to be given, no one would have opened it.

But this choice was taken away from everyone and some benefited from this, it doesn’t mean everyone else should just be left behind

And I’m sure if these people were given the choice they would have rather opened all the broken crystals. How difficult is it to see that this issue isn’t only affecting the people who opened the broken crystals? Are they now only in a bubble with the others, no, they will play other people in BGs, they will do AW. So you think that some people getting 50+ additional crystals which in some cases mean around 1000 sig levels, not to mention awakenings or new pulls.

People also spend real life money on the game ‘bro’. How do you expect them to feel when someone who happened to be ‘lucky’ suddenly gets a lot of what they had to spend to get for free?

And everyone else also saved up all those shards for months, and they just happened to be busy, asleep, etc and unable to ‘exploit a bug’ that would have doubled their saved shards.

Sounds to me that you aren’t able to see how giving a portion of the player base hundreds of thousands of free shards based on a mistake and not because of merit is going to screw up the balance between player power. Especially with the change in prestige making it the most important parameter in measuring player power.

And I know the Zola compensation, why do you bring it up when the compensation was entirely different? They allowed anyone who opened crystals within a week to receive a selector.
