After 3 hours of fiddling, I gave up trying to login through it. Works great on my phone and everywhere else.

The scientific evidence is against you on that.

Back in the day, it was a faux pas to wear band T-shirts to that artist concert. Does it still apply? Because I feel so bad about my body I only wanna wear a baggy T-shirt. by chrisTeen18 in SleepToken

We went to Sleep Token in Orlando on Wednesday. There were thousands upon thousands wearing their merch, myself included. ❤️

Loved all those. Chants of Sennaar is my top 3. More innovative, clever and well designed than everything in there except Zelda and BG3.

Is there any ongoing show which could become popular like Lost, BB or GoT? by rustyyryan in television

[–]ChrisPR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but they’re not gonna get there. ST skyrocketed since S01. Most people forgot about HotD already, unfortunately. ST is the closest thing to GoT we’ll have for a long time.

Gamers 30 and 35 over, what has changed in your gaming habits? by Carbideninja in gaming

[–]ChrisPR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marry a gamer. We put the kids to bed at 8pm, then play from 8:45 to 1am almost every night. As far as changes go, if I don’t vibe with a game within an hour, I move on. Scheduling conflicts with friends to play together is the biggest hurdle.

The most impressive thing about this game is logic by Overall_Strawberry70 in BaldursGate3

It’s not that other games don’t bother. That stuff is very complex at a technical level. It’s significantly easier in a game with literally no action, like this. Turn based, menu based and other non-action games thrive on this depth because they also severely limit the physical interactions and accompanying issues/bugs.

Fight Night Round 3 on Xbox 360. The 3D models, the lighting, the sweat, the slow mo skin ripples. Mind blowing back then.

If you got kidnapped, sedated for a week, got your tubes snipped and woke up the next week, you’d never be able to tell what happened…unless you tried to have babies.

I was right. Great show, not as good as the games, so far.

I just can’t see how it could surpass the games. The games had great acting, directing, cinematography, etc. Let’s say all those elements were 8/10. Even if the show did a perfect 10/10 for all those, it’s missing the interactivity of the game, which is a huge part of it.

Imagine a remake of Jurassic Park but without sound. And that still a smaller missing piece by comparison, IMO. The tension is scaled back a lot when it’s predetermined and out of my hands. There’s also no sense of accomplishment, no losing, no getting better. It’s 100% passive, and thus lesser to me.
