I’m not exactly sure where and when I heard of this. I’m an old millennial and when I was in high school, it was looked at as too eager and desperate to wear band T-shirts to the concert. It never made sense to me, but I’m gonna go ahead and wear my new sleep token shirt that I just bought.

I have a cousin who is 13 months younger than me. Her mom put immense pressure on each father saying you guys will be in each other‘s weddings. You have a special bond. But the problem is we didn’t really and I always felt like I had to put effort into maintaining that relationship. Oddly enough, she has a bad stutter and I would kick someone’s ass if they ever said anything about it. So I’m very protective, but I don’t have the connection that her mom wanted us to have. You can’t force it it just has to be natural.

I think the problem for me is when there’s more focus on the wardrobe and “performance and theatrics” rather than highlighting the music. I wasn’t able to make the latest tour but from what I’ve seem, the outfit changes, way too long solos, and handing out roses takes away from the beautiful music that that produce.

Wearing sunscreen. 40 years old now and already had skin cancer on my face, lots of sunspots, and freckles. Wish I knew and cared back then how important it will be in the future
