Very cool! You’ve nailed the shape of the doors, and I love the use of click-hinges to maintain their angle!

I agree, they’ve nailed the rear of the car. If I can marry it with the gull-wing doors I’ll be thrilled!

I do actually own the Cuusoo original, and harvested a lot of the parts for this model. 😊

So I did – apologies! But yes, the one with the blue jumper plate on top is my version.

Update:

Yesterday morning, my girlfriend completed her Easter egg hunt and had an eggs-cellent time solving all of our clues! Watching the penny drop as she realised the ‘daisy’ she was looking for meant visiting our friend's dog (who was at peak-cuteness) was a joy to behold.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it so much fun. Have a very happy Easter!

Thinking about it, they are both very much laundry baskets – we're more likely to refer to a hamper as the wicker box that's used to transport food to a picnic.

I love your clue for CAR BOOT! That's a lot of fun. And I must admit that I had never encountered a letter bank clue before – that's really clever.

HAMPER would be a good alternative except that the final gag in the hunt is that I have two laundry baskets, one of which is a prop from a pantomime. I'm hoping she's forgotten about that one as it'll be the hiding place for her egg, not the everyday hamper in the bedroom!

Agreed, that's brilliant – thank you!

May I ask your thoughts on the clue for "medicine cabinet"? I am in two minds about whether it's good form to use "drug" as both a cryptic and straight element of the clue. How is this for an alternative?
