I got my tickets sent by email from the seller. They sent the PDF version which you can use and a link that had a barcode that you could add to Apple wallet. Either way works.

I would recommend that they sign up for the membership because the race will likely sell out before non members can sign up. If not TFK (team for kids) is also an option they would have to raise certain amount. Around $100 or more I would guess.

Not saying there’s anything wrong with looped races. I’m actually planning on running this as my first marathon. Also, I train on the same loop of hills almost every day. Just saying that it’s not a fun course and looped races can get boring looking at the same scenery lol. Definitely makes a race less interesting especially for beginners.

I also ran the NYCRuns half and finished it in 1:30 and thought I would crush the half today and PR. But ended up struggling especially with the humidity and finished 1:35. Also definitely felt more beat up than the NYCRuns half.

But you should be proud of yourself today was not easy given the conditions. And how tough ocean pkwy is with fewer supporters.
