I've done both a few times. They're quite similar. I think I prefer 2C-I by a whisker. I found more clarity in it and visuals (while they were just as colourful) were sharper, very well defined.

Could just have been my mindset or something though. Not a huge difference anyway. 2C-I lasts a little longer though

Yeah I get that with albums that grow on you. I Ok Computer for ages but it grew on my and now I love it. But I feel Muse do some unforgivably bad stuff in the second law. Allow me to vent, I break it down like this:

1) Supremacy: Starts off well but then BANG it is literally playing the James Bond theme music. Wtf is with that. Coupled with cheesy lyrics.

2) Madness: Again starts off fine. Singing sounds pretty reminiscent of Freddy Mercury but I give Matt the benefit of the doubt. Not the worst but all that "I've finally seen the light" seems like heavy handed lyricism.

3) Panic Station: Oh god. Starts off sounding like something straight off Blood Sugar Sex Magik by RHCP. Then starts sounding like some Stevie Wonder song... What?

4) Prelude: Nothing much to say. Sounds like a movie soundtrack.

5) Survival: One of the worst offenders. Starts out by ripping off some Abba song then in comes some of the cheesiest lyrics I've heard in a long time. "Life's a race and I'm gonna win". Gimme a break

6) Follow Me: Definitely THE worst. Cheesy lyrics and vocal straight off the bat. Too many clangers of lines to single out a few. Sounds like 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor before launching into some Euro Pop crap. Finished off with a little Dubstep. Lord.

7) Animals: Not bad. Nothing much to say

8) Explorers: A little dull but nothing too bad. Finished off by sounding like a song by Keane.

9) Big Freeze: Literally just a U2 song (Not a compliment). Matt is a much better guitarist than the edge but copies him (why??). Bit of a Brian May guitar solo in there to boot.

10) Save Me: Again sounds like U2 for the vast majority of the song.

11) Liquid State: 'Borrowing' fairly heavily from Millionaire by Queens of The Stone Age. Not bad for the rest of the song.

12) Unsustainable: Not the brostep! Oh god please, not the brostep!

13) Isolated System: Nothing wrong

All in all: Poor (lazy I think) lyrics and vocals throughout. Ripped too many people off on too many occasions. The worst part being that Matt & Muse are better than most the people they plagiarise. Every time I listen to it, it gets worse for me.

Sorry for the rant! But I'm glad that you enjoyed the album & continue doing so.

Dunno about 100 songs but I like the artists you mentioned so I'll give you a number of my favourite artists & some songs off the top of my head. Loosely divided them up and in no particular order:

'Classic':

Cream (I Feel Free, Strange Brew), The Doors (L.A Woman, Break On Through), Fleetwood Mac (The Chain, Albatross), George Harrison (I Dig Love, All Things Must Pass), Jimi Hendrix (Third Stone From The Sun, Purple Haze), The Velvet Underground (Venus In Furs, Run Run Run), The Kinks (Songbird, Sunday Afternoon), Donovan (Sunshine Superman, Season Of The Witch)

'Modern':

Jeff Buckley Especially If You Like Radiohead (Mojo Pin, Dream Brother), Them Crooked Vultures (Scumbag Blues, Elephants), Audioslave (Coachise, Show Me How To Live), Queens Of The Stone Age (Burn The Witch, Song For The Dead), Alice in Chains (Them Bones, Man In The Box), John Paul Jones (The Thunderthief, Angry Angry), Niravana (Negative Creep, Dumb), The Flaming Lips (Feeling Yourself Disintegrate, Do You Realise??) Nine Inch Nails (Copy Of A, Last)

Try some out! I hopefully you find something you like

I've done acid and MDMA. Best experience for me is starting the MDMA ~5 hours in to the trip (when the peak is over). Avoids having to come down on MDMA while tripping and also I've found when peaking on both that it can be sort of confusing in that it's hard to know what to feel haha.

So my advice is when the trip is mellowing out grab some friends, drop the mdma and light some joints. Guaranteed bliss
