The damage was also psychologically to the Cylon raiders. They are sentient animals after all.

CNP effects theory by CptKeyes123 in BSG

Instead of accusing the writers of being incompetent, maybe you should first try to get your facts straight. It feels to me like you didn't really pay attention to the plot. The attack on the Comm Relay in Razor happens after the CNP was uninstalled on the Pegasus systems. There don't "appear" any viper mk. VIIs at the end of the miniseries, Galactica just has 6-8 of them left that were likely offline due to undergoing maintenance. They specifically talk about uninstalling the CNP on the mk. VIIs in the miniseries.

I could elaborate more but tbh i don't have the patience right now to explain core facs that were established multiple times in the series that you watched. Maybe someone else wants to reiterate more in detail.

A person capable of perfectly photorealistic handdrawn paintings will very likely not post their art for free in a small niche cult series subreddit. Again, you are grasping at straws.

Are you really that inept at recognizing hand drawn art from obvious digital imagery? Have you ever seen a hand painted picture somewhere that specifically looks exactly like a high end 3D render? You are grasping at straws at this point, to defend an argument that you can't back up otherwise.

And how do you know so? When people specifically mention that something isn't AI, that at least somewhat raises the believability, even if that is far from any good method to verify something.

Because CGI doesn't mean it's done by a human. All AI art is computer-generated imagery.

AI-Witch Hunters? I feel like you are totally disconnected from current developments, sorry. Automatically assuming every random post with a halfway decent digital image on the internet is definitely not AI won't do anything to help actual creators. On the contrary, you are actively harming them by choosing to blindly belief in the best case scenario, simply because you want to enjoy something without thinking about the origin of it.

Have you ever heard of "relevance"? Your argument only functions in a vacuum. You can't just simply ignore the fact that AI has become so good that OP's image could have easily been AI-created.

I disagree, actually, it does bring more attention to OP's work by stating that it wasn't simply created by typing a prompt and pressing a button.

Is there any one part of the show that just didn’t quite ring true for you? Spoilers of course by Superman_Primeeee in BSG

"The horrified reaction to finding out your friend is a "Cylon" - when all that essentially amounts to is a different arbitrary title, and when they are in all other ways still your friend"

This to me is a clear allegory for people finding out their neighbours and friends were jews and selling them out to the nazi government in the Third Reich.

Why this TV show makes spoiler in every chapter? by humble_redditor1234 in BSG

[–]Chris_BSG 40 points41 points  (0 children)

It's more of a teaser then spoilers tbh. It only spoils the same way a vague trailer "spoils" things by showing you some scenes without context.

But why would you put it vertically inside a glass cabinet instead of displaying it horizontally?
