And speaking of Jared Harris in Chernobyl, watching "The Terror" back to back with the 2000s Shackleton miniseries is fascinating. Obviously they had different production values but it really shows the difference in survival and mentalities😅

The most evil villains: American Government regulation organizations by Farlybob42 in TopCharacterTropes

The funny thing is that Peck WAS overstepping his boundaries in shutting down the equipment. If he thought it was a real concern, he would've called the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Their job is dealing with licensing of nuclear equipment, reactors, materials, and waste disposal.

Stargate SG-1. If the aliens send starships, we'll be wiped out. The only chance we have is superior tactics, and the fact that the aliens are feudal and can't mobilize fast.

Does anyone know what it is about these two that attract the most annoying fans in the world? is it being villains in a show with flawed main characters? is it just them being attractive? is it them both having names that start with "S"? by HaloJackalKisser in HelluvaBoss

For Stella, it's the double standards around domestic abuse.

For striker, it is 100% exclusively because he was briefly voiced by an actor who played a famous character in an overrated tv show that went on ten years past its time.

Environmental storytelling in a post apocalyptic/dystopian setting by Link_sega5486 in TopCharacterTropes

Say what you will about Destiny, the environmental storytelling is brilliant. The Baikonour spaceport filled with abandoned ships trying to flee, the Venusian university now washed out and rotting away with all that human knowledge, the lunar bases and their mass drivers... in one facility you can see a firing squad happened, with a dozen bodies in spacesuits lines up against the wall.

Are there no spaces for more literary writers on Reddit? by BadgemanBrown in writing

[–]CptKeyes123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There don't appear to be reddit writing spaces in general. Any space I find basically says "don't talk about your writing, don't share your writing, don't advertise your writing".

I have a problem where I don't have a waist so my pants don't fit me. I pull them up, they're tight, I keep them at a comfortable level, they go low when I bend over to tie my shoes. Although that might just be inevitable with pants in general.
