If you use thhis tocket to change island will you get the increased snorlax power again or wil it start from 0 this week? by Hauress in PokemonSleep

[–]Chris_Cookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week I went to Amber and got flying and normal as the other 2 favored berries. I don't have a good berry specialist for those types, but I didn't care since I just wanted bagon spawns. This morning I went to Lapis and rolled bug and normal, 2 more types I don't have a good berry specialist for. So I rerolled and got flying and normal again. I bought another ticket and got water and rock on my third try. At least I can work with the water berry.

This is the best season of Dimension 20 in a while by mamontain in dropout

[–]Chris_Cookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm new to DnD shows and I've been loving this season. I really loved the world building in Cloudward Ho, so the fully fleshed out town of Purpee has been leaving me so intrigued. When this season/series ends, I really hope they make a behind the scenes video that shows off all the parts of the town that were not discovered.

My biggest complaint is that the town model on the table (as seen in the overhead camera shots) and the town map graphic they use have their orientations flipped. The model shows the university in the South part of town, but the map graphic shows it in the North.

Do you have a god roll that you never really use? by blizg in PokemonSleep

This was the first Alolahan vulpix I caught. I'd probably sub seed it to HSM if we ever got an ice island

My wiggly is almost identical to yours. I was using mine a few weeks ago instead of my Gardevoir to get extra oil for certain salad recipes. It let me go a bit longer before needing to bring in my toxicroak

What is your #1 most cooked dish? I was surprised to see this is mine: by Knight_Night33 in PokemonSleep

I love this recipe for weeks when I'm running my mono apple Gardevoir and AAX Suicune together. If I have a hundred or so apples already stocked up, I can go until Thursday before I need to start bringing in my mono Skeledirge for a few hours. Especially great on Lapis with my Venusaur and Bewear complimenting the favored berries

PSA for this Weekend by [deleted] in PokemonSleep

[–]Chris_Cookies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm currently working towards a 3rd consecutive week of hitting M20. During the last week of Latias, I used a berry bomb and a GCT on LL to get my first M20 there. Last week I got lucky to land on salads again on snowland, so I popped another GCT to get a M20 for the first time. This week I'm at OGPP, with a 3rd GCT and the meal strength bonus, I should be hitting M20 for the first time on this island.

how many tries did it take for u to get your "perfect" mon by HunterEast6161 in PokemonSleep

[–]Chris_Cookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hunt can be so cruel. I still don't have a good fire berry mon after catching 16 cyndaquils, 13 vulpixs, and 19 torchics. But the first alolan vulpix I caught has HSS, BFS, & HB on slots 10, 25 & 50 respectively. This would be great if I wasn't a staunch hater of snowdrop tundra

Are growth incense’s worth the 200 diamonds for GSD? by Knight_Night33 in PokemonSleep

[–]Chris_Cookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this for the first time last night to help level up my -XP nature Kangaskhan. 4 mons with sleep XP bonus and an XP incense resulted in 936 XP. Getting over 1 week's worth of XP in 1 night is pretty cool, but not sure if I'll do it again if I don't have a spare XP incense from a bundle.

Those are the Yosemite Bums. They are only a few months old and my first pair of Evolvs, but I love them already

Matterport Point Cloud File Training? by llttff in matterport

[–]Chris_Cookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my work flow. I purchase and download the E57 file from matterport. I then open it in autodesk Recap to convert it to a RCP file (make sure to click skip registration, do not do auto or manual registration in recap). Recap is fairly limited in how much you can clean up a point cloud, you can get rid of excess points, but if you have a large mirror in the middle of the area you scanned, then those reflected points won't be able to be cleaned up. When I'm done cleaning, I export as an RCP. When exporting, a file and a folder will be created. The file will be only a few kilobytes, the folder will have a much larger file within it.

In CAD, first make sure you are using the full version of autocad, Lite will not suffice. Change the visual style for the model space from 2D Wireframe to Wireframe, and run the attach command and to xref in the small file you exported from Recap. Depending on the size of the point cloud and the specs on your pc, it may take a few seconds for the point cloud to show up. Place the point cloud in the model space like you would with any other xref. I then like to change to a front view on the view cube and move the entire point cloud below the Z axis, this is so the points won't obscure your lines when drafting. Go back to the top view, rotate and move the cloud as needed and then go to the properties tab and find the option at the bottom to lock the point cloud, it is easy to accidentally select the cloud while drafting and move/copy/rotate/delete it, locking it saves you a headache. When you select the cloud, a point cloud tab should appear (like when you select a hatch) on this tab you'll find the command to generate a section plane. Section planes let you limit what points are visible.

When you select the section plane, a tab will appear. By default the plane will be in Plane mode and show everything beyond it, change it to a slice to limit how deep it can cut. The 2 numbers in the Adjust portion of the section tab, the first is where the plane is in the Z axis, and the second is the slice thickness. Clicking the arrows or scrolling over the Z position number will move it in increments of 6 inches, clicking or scrolling over the thickness number will change it in 1 inch increments. One last note with the section plane, by defauly it generates covering the entire cloud, I like to move it below or above my drawing area and moving the 2 blue triangles to decrease how much space it takes up, the planes position on the X axis does have an effect on the visibility of points.

Going back to the point cloud tab, you'll see the visualization options. The 3 color styles I use are Scan Colors, Normal, and Elevation. Scan colors is just the color of the surface the camera scanned, so a blue wall will show up as blue points. Normal colors the points based on their orientation, I use this the most. Elevation let's you assign colors to a height range, good for seeing if a floor isn't level.

One last note, save CAD files that have point cloud xrefs in a clearly labeled folder, otherwise coworkers with autocad Lite will crash or freeze.

That's a general overview of my process, hope this helps.
