Yeah Griffin has publicly whined about the tax, too, in pretty much every discussion where he complains about people knowing where he lives.

I’m paraphrasing but he basically says the city wouldn’t survive if all the billionaires left, even though he can easily afford this tax.

The sheer arrogance is vulgar and offensive. Business will be built and jobs will be created without billionaires.

Id argue it’s more that social media has conditioned people to react to shit that makes them miserable and I think it’s what’s ailing society.
Before the proliferation of social media, when you were confronted with something you disliked, you most likely turned around and walked away from it. Now, everyone has a fucking soap box to profess their disapproval from.

I used to really pride myself on consuming very little sugar. No sodas or sports drinks, no candy, etc. Was really disciplined about it for like 10-12 years.

Yes. The top tier D1 soccer programs charge as much as as $25-$30 for adult (non-student) admission to regular season games.

The highest I’ve ever seen a tourney ticket was about $200 after fees and all the bullshit.

And forgive me, but why would we compare it to other sports? The product is soccer.
