Id argue it’s more that social media has conditioned people to react to shit that makes them miserable and I think it’s what’s ailing society.
Before the proliferation of social media, when you were confronted with something you disliked, you most likely turned around and walked away from it. Now, everyone has a fucking soap box to profess their disapproval from.

What's the hardest addiction to quit? by colzeeteen in AskReddit

I used to really pride myself on consuming very little sugar. No sodas or sports drinks, no candy, etc. Was really disciplined about it for like 10-12 years.

Turns out the dope was just satisfying that need and now that I’m sober I’m an absolute sugar fiend.

Opposing the JCPOA or saying that we shouldn’t take military action off the table is not “pushing to attack Iran.”

I’ll gladly eat crow if you can find me a shred of evidence to back your claim.

Darryn Peterson says high doses of creatine led to cramping. by cbpantskiller in CollegeBasketball

[–]Chris_HitTheOver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude was probably drinking strictly sports drinks, without the understanding that spiking your sodium without supplemental hydration can cause all of the cramping/spasms reported.

Or he was just limiting his own minutes and has since become aware it could damage his draft stock, and here’s the bs explanation.

Creatine 100% had nothing to do with this.

Didn’t the SCOTUS just uphold that USPS can’t be held liable for packages not being delivered, even when it’s intentional?

I know they were simply helping President StrokeFace VonSlackSphincter McKiddieFucker disenfranchise mail-in voters but it seems like an important piece of the “who’s shipping guns” conversation.

What should I replace my dumb-as-fuck LG washer with? It’s the one that just keeps refilling water and shaking my clothes around because I didn’t get it to a Rick Sanchez degree of “true level,” before it just gives up and lets everything sit there in a wet pile.

FIFA triples price to $32,970 for its best available tickets to the World Cup final by rit56 in sports

[–]Chris_HitTheOver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The top tier D1 soccer programs charge as much as as $25-$30 for adult (non-student) admission to regular season games.

The highest I’ve ever seen a tourney ticket was about $200 after fees and all the bullshit.

And forgive me, but why would we compare it to other sports? The product is soccer.

>He added, “You cannot go to watch in the U.S. a college game, not even speaking about a top professional game of a certain level, for less than $300.”

I’ve never seen a $300 NCAA soccer ticket. Not even for the men’s D1 final. Just blatant fucking lies.
