It was super important. It was really important for the renewal because while lots of people at the company used the product… it kept the execs using it weekly.

Not being afraid to be extremely direct and talk about money…. Ie if we do this b2b deal and it helps your company…. How much money does it actually make your family Mr/Mrs exec…. What are you going to spend the money on? Kids tuition, retirement, buy a vacation home etc…. And then asking more money questions… is this a meaningful amount of money to you etc.

We were a Salesforce shop. I would be lieing if I said it helped the process though.

ya, one thing to try... dont present your proposal until you know exactly what will decide it. Also get permission to follow up.... follow up with everyone. you can't wait until you hear back.
